Why are you paying a min of £150k rent to NTFC for the next 4.5 years whilst you have your "new ground built"?
Why not rent the arena for the same?
Have you asked ACL to match what you are currently paying?
Your income streams will be higher, and the fans get to see their team in cov.

Or do you see giving ANY monies to ACL as prolonging the time of you getting the arena for peanuts?

This is my conclusion, what does anyone else think?

Also what's to stop sisu getting the Ricoh razing the place to the ground selling the land for redevelopment and then using some of the funds to build a cheap and nasty 12,000 seater ground before selling up and going?

they can't starve ACL out if they are paying them money. I think SISU are joining the NOPM crowd.

Why not rent the arena for the same? - It defeats the purpose of the JR Ecky to hurt CCCouncil and ACL, by staying at the Ricoh and letting them profit from the Football Club isn't valid to Sisu.

Have you asked ACL to match what you are currently paying? - It's irrelevant Ecky, ACL have offered less to Sisu then what they're paying at Sixfields (not including the match day fee's) but Tim Fisher did state that although it would probably worth going back in terms of attendances, it wouldn't be suitable long term to Sisu.
Your income streams will be higher, and the fans get to see their team in cov. - As I said above although it's a very good point Tim Fisher has stated that the Club and Sisu can't work with ACL and CCCouncil and they're willing to take the hit on the wallet over it.

Or do you see giving ANY monies to ACL as prolonging the time of you getting the arena for peanuts? - If we believe what CCCouncil and ACL say they are sustainable business so this won't be applicable.

This is my conclusion, what does anyone else think?

Also what's to stop sisu getting the Ricoh razing the place to the ground selling the land for redevelopment and then using some of the funds to build a cheap and nasty 12,000 seater ground before selling up and going? - They'd have to meet CCCouncil's price for the Arena's Freehold and realistically they won't do that, plus if they got the Arena they could sell off our club and the Arena and almost break even (Should you believe the figure's that Sisu have invested since being at the Club).

Good performance last night at Sixfields but should have won much more comfortably! Highlighted how much we've missed Leon, PUSB!

I wasn't all that impressed to be honest. There were far too many sloppy passes giving possesion away easily. Baker didn't come to life until the last 20 minutes, Jordan Clarke was absolutely shocking with the ball. As I said to the old man, we were good when we hadn't got the ball pressing well and the tackles that the back 4 were putting in were outstanding. Seabourne looked a bit sloppy to me and wasn't keeping up with the other 3 defenders. Christie was a star as was Fleck who really ran the midfield with an outstanding performance. MOTM for me. There was just far too many loose passes.

I thought it was a fan thing, surely if those in support knew it was a SISU thing they would have to start going to Sixfields? Just so they didn't become SISU puppets.

!!!!!!IMHO there is no other topic worth talking about Andyboy. Whether we just scraped past a Fourth division team last night, just doesn't mean a lot compared to the awful mess our club, mine and yours, is in.
RFC may as well be Tim Fisher's dad for all he's worth. Or someone resembling 'see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil' whilst stuck with his head in the sand.

I wouldn't mind if Jordan Clarke was shocking with his passing baring in mind he cut's the defensive mistakes out of his game which he did last night having a solid game at the back defensively.

Christie looked like the player that he was at the beginning of the season and Fleck did what he has been doing all season, spraying the ball around the pitch, looking for the right pass to open up the opposition and breaking down play when not in posession. All in all it was an 8/10 performance if we want to be critical, there is no way we should have been looking over our shoulders with 10 minutes to go, but fair play to Leon Clarke considering it was his first start for a month he was really sharp.

You can't help but think the one that he hit straight at the Keeper would've been a goal had he not been out for a month, but his overall performance was pretty good.

Thomas was practically invisible due to Flecks dominance, he was like a swarm of wasps annoying Hartlepool all over the pitch. This isn't to say that Thomas had a bad game, just that he was overshadowed by Fleck.

As we know Conor is more industrial but I think sometimes in any position the industrial player can get overlooked, as you said Rich it's not that Conor had a bad game, just that Fleck did all the things that caught the eye.

The only question I have with regards to Leon is, Will he start Saturday?

I can't see why not. It's not like he was buzzing all over the place is it. He seems very wise in his movement and doesn't need to over exert himself.

It's not often that a thread which has become more about football on the pitch than Sisu has been called the "same drivel" on here in recent months.

Sisu invented NOPM (towards ACL) we've just copied it for use against them.
Fortunately our performance on the pitch has been good for most of this season so far and the results have born this out.

Maybe we should learn from then, it's not worked to help them aquire the Ricoh and it's not worked for us to make them come back.

However Moussa is absolute quality on the ball at times I swear his legs are at 90degrees to his body but he still remains upright.

We have Nick, keep it on topic or else, and a moderator Rich trying to do the reverse, cos he's like REALLY funny and clever. Nick have you a policy or not, if yes, tell a Rich what it is.

To answer the OP, if Sisu went back to the Ricoh, it would make something happen, as all parties would be there and engaged.
We all want something to happen, don't we?
