It's not just a flick of switch either. Look how we fought and battled at Southampton. We were fabulous that day. Real passion and determination.
AgreeAnd something else besides, needle, discipline has been lost since then
Except Ipswich and Oxford who we haven't beaten in either time playing this yearWell we really need to get a grip here. Early Feb. We’re top. We are capable of beating any team in the league.

Clearly should have and had the chances to.So you don’t think we’re “capable” of beating Oxford?
Clearly should have and had the chances to.
Do we win on those?Anyone continuing their meltdown into Sunday needs to watch the highlights from yesterday
Do we win on those?
I don’t get where this outlook we were good and unlucky yesterday is coming from, I thought we were absolutely dogshitPeople are forgetting anything decent in recent games. All bad luck, poor reffing decisions etc irrelevant
I don’t get where this outlook we were good and unlucky yesterday is coming from, I thought we were absolutely dogshit
Sloppy passing, completely static and managed to hit the target a whole five times
If you think that then I’m afraid there’s no hope for you.I don’t get where this outlook we were good and unlucky yesterday is coming from, I thought we were absolutely dogshit

Must have been watching a different side playing a different game - If you think that was an acceptable performance against 23rd in the league at home then there isn’t much for you eitherIf you think that then I’m afraid there’s no hope for you.
I think creating numerous chances and conceding basically nothing is a good performance vs a side with 11 men behind the ball.Must have been watching a different side playing a different game - If you think that was an acceptable performance against 23rd in the league at home then there isn’t much for you either
Don't think anyone has said everything's fine have they? It's obviously not all over, we're top of the league. But its also not everything is fine, just keep doing the same and it will work out.
Look at the form table over the last 10 games. We're 17th. Middlesborough are 3rd and Ipswich 1st. They both have games in hand which means potentially Boro move ahead of us and Ipswich move within 2 points.
Boxing Day we were looking at potentially going 16 points clear of 3rd. That's a huge turnaround that you can't ignore.
The concern is that towards the end of last season teams worked us out and we didn't have a response. The same seems to have happened this season, but earlier, and again we don't seem to have a response.
Poor teams can sit behind the ball knowing are play is pedestrian and we generate few genuine chances, and often fail to convert them. Better teams can sit back and hit us on the counter knowing are defence always has a mistake in them.
so you think our bad form is down to luck?I think creating numerous chances and conceding basically nothing is a good performance vs a side with 11 men behind the ball.
Just got very unlucky - that’s life and has been life the past few weeks, it’ll swing the other way.
I don't think we were that unlucky to be honest. The non sending off and a few that were bobbling about in the penalty area, where the ball could have ended up anywhere, stand out though.I think creating numerous chances and conceding basically nothing is a good performance vs a side with 11 men behind the ball.

There's a fair bit of look at the stats and would have won on another day type posts.Don't think anyone has said everything's fine have they?
Yeah, but I think everyone is concerned. There's a fair bit of look at the stats and would have won on another day type posts.

If you are a promotion hunting side and not beating 23rd place at home I don’t see how it can be spun in a remotely positive matterI think creating numerous chances and conceding basically nothing is a good performance vs a side with 11 men behind the ball.

You are, yesIf you are a promotion hunting side and not beating 23rd place at home I don’t see how it can be spun in a remotely positive matter
If we were in the midst of a positive run of form and it was one of those days where their keeper has a worldie and we huffed and puffed and couldn’t blow the house down, then I maybe could accept it - But taking into account the rut we are in and recent performances that was worrying yesterday
I am actually struggling to see where our next win is going to come from?
It's also not a given that they'll win away at Sheff U tmw.IF we can win next Monday it could change everything
No not entirely, but I think it’s played a pretty big part. Oxford/Norwich/Charlton/Blues all could’ve gone our way with a bit of luck.so you think our bad form is down to luck?
StopIt's also not a given that they'll win away at Sheff U tmw.
If that works 1 way then thats OK, but we were just as "lucky" to beat Leicester and Millwall, as we were "unlucky" to lose/draw the ones you mentionedNo not entirely, but I think it’s played a pretty big part. Oxford/Norwich/Charlton/Blues all could’ve gone our way with a bit of luck.
Blues score 3 goals from 3 shots, we don’t get a clear pen.
Charlton we go a goal up early, play ok, managing the game alright and then Brau happens.
Norwich - Haji missed a couple of 1v1s, EMC hits the bar from 4 yards out with a header, Kitching error happens.
Oxford - Dominate the game, create enough to win, Haji doesn’t take his chances.
You say the Charlton and Oxford games go our way rather than us being unlucky and we’re 9 points ahead of Ipswich.
I’d be a lot more concerned if we had just put up 0.2xG at home like Hull did in midweek vs what we did yesterday.
But we weren't lucky to beat either of those sides based on the stats. If that works 1 way then thats OK, but we were just as "lucky" to beat Leicester and Millwall, as we were "unlucky" to lose/draw the ones you mentioned
Well in both games they missed gilt edge chances to extend their leads. you miss out the context by purely looking at statsBut we weren't lucky to beat either of those sides based on the stats.
They got lucky in the playoffs lets be honestThey'd been in free fall prior to that in the league.
It was my point; the play-offs are a lottery. They got lucky in the playoffs lets be honest

It’s about momentum and current form and tactics isn’t it. Your glass half full stuff is admirable at times but you’re not being realistic if you can’t see we are a different outfit from the one who swept teams aside.Well we really need to get a grip here. Early Feb. We’re top. We are capable of beating any team in the league.
