You said he was a potentially excellent coach and tipped him to be a future England manager

He could be. You rate Southgate who was mediocre at best at club level.

I rated Southgate based on his achievements for England. What do you rate Lampard on?

He is very familiar with the England set up and used to working with elite players.

50% win ratio after 6 games is a good start for Frank and we are in a decent run of fixtures so he could well end up having a fantastic start if the next couple of games go our way .

I have no doubt that we can play some nice stuff under frank , my early concern lies when things arent going well and his ability to get the team back in a game .

Either way , a good January could set us up nicely for the remainder of the season

It’s a very respectable start and I’ve seen enough to feel very positive about his appointment.

Yes agree with all that.

Hull and Plymouth were both atrocious so we'll get a better idea of where we're at after the next 3 games.

But some promising signs in there.

Helps when you don't have a traffic cone in goal mind you.

Get something at Carrow Road next weekend I'll be seriously impressed. As you say not starting that utter pillock in goal gives you half a chance.

Now running 9th in last 6 form table, that's quite decent.

The home form has massively improved since Lampard has been in charge, hopefully continues against Millwall.

I think it's important to give credit where it's due , and Frank has had a nice start 50% win ratio

We've played the bottom 4 , millwall and west brom

So one person.
'Some' suggests more than one person.
Meanwhile in the real world, I've personally not heard one person describe Lampard as a disaster.

You didn't provide proof that 'some' people think Lampards a disaster.
You provided proof that one poster does.
There might be more, but again, not encountered them in the real world personally.

I can see he said it before any games under him, is that what you mean?

I thought you were saying that people were calling him a disaster based on what we'd seen so far which I hadn't seen, which is why I mentioned it

Yeah attacking wise, we do look to have made some progress I think. Mason-Clark is a different player from a month or two ago.

The defence still terrifies me at times though, even at 4-0 up I feel we could crumble if we were to concede

Yes we definitely look better in attack. Playing with more pace and purpose, less of the slow ponderous passing around the centre backs.

The other main difference is simply the number of men in the box when attacking, we're committing more men forwards into the penalty area when the ball is out wide.

As poor as Plymouth were, if we had started with the back 4 and keeper we had against Portsmouth they'd probably have scored so hopefully we've started making progress in that area.

It's nothing about being proven correct.

Virtually every post of yours these days is some sort of reference to someone else's historical posts. You're seemingly unable to mention anything about a game or a player in isolation. You always add in some sarcy comment about something someone has said.

It's weird, that's all. But if you enjoy it then good for you.

I had people giving me laughing emojis for saying I believe in mid table by end of Jan

I think I'm well within my rights to call out these people.

We conceded 4 in the last game for the first time this season. Granted we managed a clean sheet today against a team missing its entire first choice front line. Let's see how the next few games go.

Sure you can give some stick back, no problem with that.

I'm just saying that it seems to be EVERY post at the moment and it's bit OTT.

Well tbh I see it OTT the other way. You included. Which was surprising to me as I always agreed with you mostly as a poster.

It's not Biggie tho. As long as everyone wants a win next game I have no issue I guess after my digs lol
