"this is what real starvation looks like"

Nothing problematic about that at all.

Looking at some of the replies it appears that all the images we see of starving Palestinians are actually Palestinians with pre-existing health conditions.

It's mind blowing that people actually believe this stuff.

This is disgusting.

Israel lost its page.

Young Palestinian girl is reduced to skin and bone amid food crisis

The disturbing images show the sickly thin nine-year-old Maryam Duvvas, who is currently receiving treatment at Patient Friends Association Hospital in Gaza City.

I see Netanyahu has confirmed that they intend to permanently occupy Gaza. If it isn’t obvious to you why his government ignored intelligence from their allies and foes ahead of the 7th October attacks now it never will be.

At least he’s finally come out and said it in English so nobody is in any doubt, but they’d been saying it in Hebrew for longer.

Expect a strongly worded statement from his bitch Starmer followed by a continuation of weapons trading and air surveillance.

He's way ahead you, did that earlier today. Said it was 'wrong' but apart from that it seems pretty much business as usual.

I see the Israeli military have confirmed to the New York Times that the RAF are providing greater levels of assistance than we were led to believe. Including intelligence gathering flights that Lammy categorically denied were happening recently.

As I assume are all European leaders who made similar statements as a show of European unity?

European leaders criticise Israel’s Gaza City takeover decision

Israel's decision to seize Gaza City was criticised by European leaders over humanitarian concerns. Germany halted military exports, calling for immediate ceasefire.

They’re all clowns. Stick the all the enablers (the ones selling them weapons) in The Hague next to Netanyahu.

Also Starmer is/was a human rights lawyer….. it’s laughable his response.

I think the Starmer as human rights lawyer is massively oversold. Lawyers uphold laws, they do not necessarily care that much about the beneficiaries of it. In the same way that criminal barristers are not sympathetic to criminals.

At the very least then he must know that Israel’s actions go against the things he previously would uphold?

Palestine Action protesters arrested by police at London demo

I would say ‘what a farce’ but I know there are people on this board who are genuinely terrified by these people so I suppose the sensitive thing to do is to just applaud our brave boys in blue for nabbing so many terrorists

Quite right to be terrified. Today was the worst day for terrorism in our countries history. At least if you go by the number of arrests.

In London the terror threat was so high they had to bring in police from other forces.

Clearly no one on this board is any more terrified of them than any of the other groups - these aren’t terrorists but are supporting a group prescribed as a terrorist group and are aware it’s an illegal act

It’s fine if you agree with breaking the law but doing so comes with consequences - it’s odd as most of these protesters claim it’s a breach of freedom of speech - I assume therefore supporting other terrorist prescribed groups is the same?

Some within Netanyahu's regime are very unhappy with what he's said. Not because they oppose the conquest of course, but because he said the conquest would only be temporary.

Surely people can oppose genocide without supporting a group on the terror list? Isn't that just common sense?

They were sitting down holding placards. I know it’s says ‘I support Palestine Action’ which will be the reason they happened.
A sentence on a piece of cardboard is not exactly aiding and abetting a terrorist group.

So they could have said they oppose genocide and left it at that?

It's really not hard to grasp

Somebody could say i love being Muslim and support ISIS.

They wouldn't be arrested for the Muslim part.

I think holding up a sign supporting a group on a terror list is the same.

That's why they got arrested, not for opposing genocide.

I'm not sure how people are struggling to understand.

I mean you are not wrong ultimately, there is a lot of illegal activity in London, I’m guessing they’ve already dealt with all the other stuff.

Surely can't be too far away that those expressing Palestinian solidarity will be having their voices overdubbed by someone with a middle Eastern accent in media interviews..

Everyone understands.

Is this what you want the Met Police to be doing with their time?
