LOLREVEALED: Coventry City in line for £600k Wembley windfall and tickets could rise above 45k
Wonder if he has been promised a bit of that? Will see come August.
If so, we can thank Slade for that by getting us to Wembley.

I thin Venus also got us about the same wins!
And mowbray smashed bilics west ham to set the tone.
In a season where no manager has done well at least the 3 of them did enough in the cup games to get us to wembley. Hopefully now robins can finish it off.

Somehow I doubt it an extra half million would be great but it's a one off sum thanks to Wembley, what happens the season after next IF there is one for us.REVEALED: Coventry City in line for £600k Wembley windfall and tickets could rise above 45k

also from the article unless Oxford fans match us for numbers then we create a bigger windfall for their club by having more fans as the split is 45:45 between the clubs and 10% to the EFL.
The powers that be are to be thanked, if they hadn't introduced Prem and ChampIf so, we can thank Slade for that by getting us to Wembley.

Surely OSB, you know from reading this forum, that all money not siphoned off to the Cayman Islands should be "invested" in new players. The salaries and other day to day costs are paid by the fairies...................only a small fly in the ointment, but the club probably has no real reserves of cash and need to be able to finance May, June & July when the club has no income. That's an additional cash burden to building a squad. So I wouldn't get hopes up
The accounts that were signed off in February recognised the Wembley impact but also stated additional finance would be required in the next 6 months. If that statement is true I would have serious doubts about a windfall to build the squad...... they need the windfall to simply keep going

SISU are already threatening the FA over revenue streams at Wembley. TF saying we'll move the Checkatrade final to Northampton if no agreement is reached.....Shame we don't get a cut off the Wembley pie money............................
If the likes of DKE, Harries, Willis, both Thomasesesessss, Stokes and Stevenson all agreed to stay with us next season then yes, £600k would probably be enough to fill out the rest of the squad to a standard that could challenge in league 2. In reality though they won't all stay and Robins will have to build a whole new squad.Serious question, even if he got all of it (which won't happen) do you believe that would be enough?
It would just be thr £600k though for the squad, that would be in addition to ticket money, sponsorship, FL money, corporate. If the likes of DKE, Harries, Willis, both Thomasesesessss, Stokes and Stevenson all agreed to stay with us next season then yes, £600k would probably be enough to fill out the rest of the squad to a standard that could challenge in league 2. The average wage in league two is £40,350 pa (£775 PW), if our turnover doesn't drop too far (yes that means no NOPM) and we keep a wage bill of c£2m, we should be easiliy one of thr largest resourced in the league.

Our current average would put us 3rd in the table, plymouth and Portsmouth above us are both in thr top 3 so could go up, and if they do should make us thr biggest supported team in thr league as long as NOPM doesn't bite too hard.Actually I looked up average attendances in L2 & was surprised to find out that the 3 best attended teams can more or less match or better the present City crowds, obviously there is far more potential here and a promotion/play-off campaign would see much bigger crowds. Not sure SISU will look at it that way, they're not very smart when it comes to running the business,
