Olympic day at the Ricoh with lots of sporting events. Wasps will be there. 17 sports on display and Wasps will be teaching touch rugby.

It does also say football is one of the 17 sports, but I am guessing it is not Coventry City.

Who is actually putting the event on? Would like to think CCFC and / or SBITC would get an invite.

even if they haven't been invited the club should get in touch with the organisers and put themselves forward

They might cancel at the last minute OSB58 You'd think CCFC would have been at the front of the queue to offer services.

Sad day when football is included in the "Also ran" mention.

It isn't really though is it, though GB only put a Olympic football team in for the first time in 50 years in 2012 and I think that was only to sell a few tickets

I mean considering Coventry is a Football City it gets a mention along with what are minor sports.

Just to clarify we have been invited to attend (and agreed), but our involvement has not been included in the press release.

Good news, but why do I think the omission from the press release is another little dig designed to get under the skin??
Divide and conquer??

Is there no depths the council telegraph won't sink to in their campaign against the football club?
