Before becoming a full time comedian John Bishop worked for bbc Merseyside and commentated on liverpool matches.Is this him during the Liverpool coventry match 1995
when Peter Ndlovu scored a hat trick? listen and see if you can help.

I was there, great game did ever away game that year and the 3 before it with about 200 other city fans, I didn't go Saturday though so in a glory supporter.

John Bishop worked as a pharma sales rep until about 10 years ago, so I don't think he would have been involved in Radio Merseyside whatsoever back in the mid 90's....

Ndlovu's 3rd goal is one of my all time favorite City goals - Ruddock didn't know what day it was. How we've missed that sort of football these last 10 years.

According to wiki he was also at radio city liverpool
