Yes, but they were set up on the back of FA's confirmation and approval of the proposed permanent move to Milton Keynes, they were never going back and that's why afc Wimbledon was set up.

I wouldn't worry about a Phoenix club yet, there is a little way to go yet, but we'll get our club back, it might take a while, but it's gonna happen.

Yep, it would.

Some would take the occasion of a club dying to give up, that's natural, but there can still be a continuation in legacy, just as much as nobody really cared nor knew whether the 'club' we were all supporting was Ltd. or Holdings until recently!

I don't think those figures are right, there are a lot of sub-companies to consider, those say SISU had a turnover for 2011 of £3m, yet Coventry FC alone turned over far more than that in 2011.

Dont think that Sisu turnover is made up of their invested business's turnovers. They are an investment fund management business. As an example, if you had a pension fund, and the fund company charged a fund management fee of 0.5%, then that 0.5% would be considered their turnover, not the value of your pension fund. In sisu's case, their investment in CCFC would not be part of their turnover, as it would only be the funds that they are managing (as opposed to owning) on behalf of their investors.

Just to put that into perspective - if their turnover was 0.5% of the fund's profit, then the total managed fund for their investors in the year that SISU made £26M must have been £26M x 0.5%, which equals a fund profit of £5,120M for their investors - in just one year. That's serious financial clout!

Thought the new Chester FC is a different club to the old Chester City... We still play in the same ground, in the same colours and the history of the old Chester City now belongs to Chester FC. The chant of 'Come On City' still can be heard every time we get a corner.... The old lady hasn't died, she's just got people who now care looking after her, and we've given her an arselift and a facelift and she's never looked better !!!

Depends on how you analyse the figures.
You could say that in 7 years they have turnover of over £86Million and profits of over £45Million.
And if the turnover is based on a 0.5% management fee, you do the maths on how much their investors are ahead, so I would doubt that they would be in any hurry to pull the plug because of a blip in figures, especially as there seems to be a long-term game plan (if only we could work out what it is).
