Just my thought, but with Otium disassociating itself from Coventry City Football Club (Holding) Limited I am thinking SISU might be manouvering Otium into a position whereby it might be sold ? If so, bearing in mind Otium was viryally moribund until the purchase of CCFC Ltd, what are the assets and liabilities of Otium ? What is the value of Otium ? OSB ?

Dont think they are looking at selling VOR - well not unless they get an offer that they would be silly to refuse, which is unlikely

Otium has no value really, it has debts owed to ARVO secured on any assets (players etc) it may have with rising debt little income no home 3rd division etc. They need property to give it worth. So need to either build or acquire a stadium interest. I would say in terms of day to day football operations it is probably better run than the club has been in ages

But dont see a sale any time soon unless there is a game changing event

Maybe they might be considering purchasing Sixfields and the surrounding land - ripe for development ?

....perhaps we should put this theory to the FL in an email......

I doubt they've had any random or bizarre emails from City fans for ages....:thinking about:

Lets hope, but they should of sold ages ago when ccfc had some value at least. but now at an all time low and maybe even going one way and that's further down the leagues then who knows what will happen.

Almost as bad as building a new ground.

Well sixfields would be far to big for the number of spectators they get. Further more they would have to change their name, they couldn't be called Coventry if they resided permanently in cobblers land.

Are we actually discussing this? There is more chance of the Irish building a moon base.

My original question was is SISU preparing to sell Otuium (to which OSB replied he didn't think so as Otium would need a Stadium to enhance the value. My tongue in cheek reply was is SISU preparing to buy Sixfields ? This was a question, nothing more. Who knows what SISU's plans are ? Cheaper to buy Sixfields than build a new Stadium or the Ricoh - considering the land around Sixfields ripe for development ! MK Dons anyone Mark 2 ?

Ooh I've heard about this, my former builders were quoting for it I think. Well maybe not but they had to be doing something else given how long they took and the amount of time they actually spent away from the house doing something else. I can just hear the excuse about long travel to the site to measure up for an accurate quote.

Dunno, Grendel. You tell me ? How can they build a new Stadium ? How can they buy the Ricoh ? Nothing amazes me more now than SISU's future intentions !

Depends -- if SISU is a separate company, it is "is"... eg Otium is "is" not "are".... I got GCE O level language in 1956 ! lol

Perhaps they are going to buy Jimmy's Hill, and start charging fans a half season ticket! (Joke before anyone gets their knickers in a twist)
