Having watched our game on sky v P'Boro followed by Burton v Millwall, we were by far the best attacking team in terms of quality football and chances created but IMO we looked physically smaller and weak defensively. I think TM may need to change the balance of the side to address this.

There will be loans but they shouldn't form the core of our side

Clear out deadwood like Conor Thomas, who is on a reported 6k a week, and frees up some wages to bring 2 players in alone with that wage!

He won't get a contract anything that anywhere. If he stays it will be on a salary in keeping with the present wage structure, whatever that is!

The whole we fucked up the budget and the real break even figure is 14k is likely bollocks I suspect.

We've averaged 12,500 this season after being told we need 11k attendances to sustain our budget as well as the sale of Maddison for a few million, very soon people would have been asking questions about why there wasn't further investment in the team if we 1,500 fans above prediction as well as where the 2 million (lower estimate) windfall on top of that was going and why it wouldn't be invested on the pitch if we are above the predicted attendance we needed. By saying, actually we got the budget wrong and we need 14k attendances gives them a convenient excuse at the ideal time.

Wash your mouth out. SISU would never bullshit us. I suspect that there's a chance you could be right though. On top of the Madison money if rumours are correct there could be a Wilson windfall to.

We'll see when the next accounts are published. The squad that finished the season was much larger than the one that began the season.

True. But surely it's about averages. There hasn't as far as I no been any talk of budget overspend overall and yes the squad was larger at the end of the season but it was also very light at the start. If we were overspending at the end I'd be pretty sure we under spent at the start. Either the figures were horribly horribly wrong in the first place or something else is going on. That's a hell of a lot for it to be out by. They really couldn't have gotten their sum's that badly out, surely? Could they?

Maybe they borrowed Tim's special estimating calculator
