I really wonder about this appointment

It’s all developing rapidly into a car crash.

The reason I refer to the title is that the “honeymoon” period for both care not because of the ability of the manager in question but the attitude of the players who had lost all respect for the prior manager and had stopped playing.

So for a period there was an uplift but this was nothing to do with the clueless manager but a response from getting the previous guy out. Then when the manager has to manage he cannot. Solskaar was appointed on a false belief he can manage.

He looks lost and bereft of ideas. A glazed stare as another game goes buy. At least I’m sure he will stay focused and sober but the fate will be the same as the clueless one

Apologies for spelling of clueless two - can’t be bothered to check

According to most man u fans, its the guy who owns it who gets involved in transfers allegedly. So the summer will be interesting for them.

I agree, OGS looks like it's started going severely wrong already and it will take serious recruitment to get a decent team together.

Going back to the players who stopped playing for Mourinho, surely they could be accussed of throwing games? To lose on purpose is disgusting for their abilities and wages, regardless of who the manager is, imo.

caught some of todays game and they were absolutely dreadful. The lack of effort was unreal.

The permanent appointment of Solskjaer was made far too early, they should have waited until the end of the season to see how things panned out.

It made no sense. There was literally nothing to lose by waiting to the end of the season. if he'd have kept performing he would have still signed but if not they could have got someone else in. Not so easy now, will mean sacking another manager.

I think it’s only fair to judge him after he’s had a couple of transfer windows , it’s become increasingly apparent the problem at Manchester United is the players

Indeed it is-what is more annoying is the same players got rid of the previous manager through lack of effort. So are also in turn conning the fans who pay their hard earned cash to come through the turnstiles and watch them not give their all.

I fear they'll sack him, though. No sentimentality around there.

Even Cardiff fans were taking the piss, singing "1-0 to the Championship."

Then it became 2-0

Just a car crash club atm.
Poor transfer policy. Ridiculous wage structure. Supposed key players (superstars) far too inconsistent and (for the want of a better phrase) unprofessional attitudes.
Now a lot of the players going to sulk as wages cut by at least 25% because they didn't qualify for CL.
Initial bounce showed what they could be capable of but the football really wasn't any different from Jose's.

Thw whole club is a mess.

You've got to give OGS at least a season and two transfer windows to give it a chance to sort but it was take a fucking shed load of effort.

Personally I think they will do a Liverpool and go on a barren run of no titles for a long time. They are miles off the top two now.
