Not his team

His tactics are obviously different to Thorne's (different system used)

He didn't sign Jennings, Wes Brown's hopeless brother or Barton

He did sign Mcgoldrick (so I'm led to believe)

He didn't agree the 'performance related pay scheme' which seems to be upsetting players

I'm not for a moment suggesting he should be the next manager but my point is I think too many people are trying to hang him out to dry when he's not even been back at the club that long!

Agreed, as in people are unfairly slating him. But I think it's because he should be able to motivate the players, but maybe "shawsy" is as much the problem as Thorn was, and Oggy, and now Carsley? The players aren't playing for them, so do they want a new manager or just dont want to play full stop?

I wonder what Di Mateo got told before winning the FA Cup and Champions League as caretaker? Just saying if Shaw put in a good shift, he would be held in high regard. Also, these 3 games we have lost could be the difference between promotion, or not :thinking about:

I think it's gonna take a lot for this lot to be motivated anytime soon.

I don't believe Shaw wouldn't be trying his hardest, but I felt yesterday that he was just as pissed off as everyone else in his post match interview, and agrees a decision is needed sooner rather than later! Wonder if he's regretting ever coming back.......

More than likely, he owes us nothing, but came back out of choice. the poor sap :facepalm:

That though is the problem with shortlists etc.

If he is on the shortlist, then god help us all.

If he isnt then where is the motivation for him to do well?

I don't blame Shaw either...i think its a case of what he says is going in one ear and coming out the other when it comes to the players.

It's a good explanation as to why the he was so pissed off the other day. The players have got into a cushty little routine and nothing he says seems to be making them work harder.

I don't even bother reading any of the interviews coming through from the players at the moment because its just more bull in my opinion.

I hope that the new Manager can get these idiots playing like propper footballers because at the moment i don't see that happening and until he comes it will continue in the same vain

Yes i believe that would work quite well...maybe even release his inner anger...the players might fear him then

Yes. Shaw has shown the same naivety that possesed Thorn.
Wrong subsitutes, wrong formations, poor team selection, playing too deep, no width, unable to motivate from WINNING positions! I could go on.

The new manager will galvanise the players and this club...hopefully
