I cant afford a season ticket and up untill recently wirked most weekends so go as and when i can and £24 is about 10 quid more than it should be! That is a criminal price for football at this level
Surely just get a match package so it's cheaper?I went for a meal last night at an Italian restaurant. Beer nearly £7 a bottle; overall bill too expensive. Most of the blokes in there had a £7 bottle of beer.
Sometimes you pay a bit more than you should. People's own choice. In context, I don't think the extra £2-£4 makes much of a difference as to whether you go. I can't remember the last time somebody said I'm not going for a few beers if I spend £24, but yes if I only get to spend £20?

Yeah that's fine but a lot of people will be spur of the moment and you will only get a match package if you're planning to go.Surely just get a match package so it's cheaper?
But somebody is more likely to go somewhere where they get the same number of beersI I can't remember the last time somebody said I'm not going for a few beers if I spend £24, but yes if I only get to spend £20?
You buy a bottle of beer for £7 though and I would assume you have paid for a bottle of beer that you like and that you like the taste of.
You can pay £24 for a football match and end up with a pile of crap.

For £20 as they get elsewhere for £24.
If we decide to travel up for the game, the price won't put us off 'but that's not to say it isn't
To expensive for this level, whatever happened to "Twentys Plenty"
Yeah but you get it at the start of the season then you can go to 6 games through the year spur of the moment and it's cheaperYeah that's fine but a lot of people will be spur of the moment and you will only get a match package if you're planning to go.
I posted up the prices for other teams, it's about right. Same as the season tickets are.But somebody is more likely to go somewhere where they get the same number of beers

Never mind your expectation, the reality is 4th division football against 4th divisionGet your point Otis, but you can order a meal and feel a bit disappointed, or it was better than you expected. You go along to a footie match with similar expectations/outcomes (although being a City fan, the expectation hasn't been that high recently!)
I agree, I've already stated that the price won't put me off, but it doesn't representI agree, but I would never not go to a game for the sake of a couple of quid. If it were Arsenal away and they wanted £60, then I would make a stand (unless it was Champions league semi final)

I believe you Nick, I've already said it won't put me off TBH if we do a game the ticketI posted up the prices for other teams, it's about right. Same as the season tickets are.
Yep, I agree. I get an ST each season and just go to support my team. Some though do evaluate it all. That's football. There are no guarantees when you support a team.
Yup.All football is expensive. This is not a CCFC thing.
If we are struggling it will make no difference at all, they could charge £10 or £100 for Walk upYup.
On the general level, it's disgusting.
On the club level, it's not surprising they go with what they have. Really don't think dropping £4 will make much difference to walk-up next season anyway. It'll be are we winning or not that'll do that.

Twenties plenty is something for away fans! But somebody is more likely to go somewhere where they get the same number of beers
