Sounds like a good move for Dmc - fair play to all concerned me thinks! Just a shame its not us!

DMC certainly finding life tougher in the championship with 4 goals in 13 appearences

however, seem to remember a quote from MR saying something along the lines of 'having been given assurances, we're trying to sign DMG & with LC we'd walk this league'

I said it at the time McG would struggle as Cov were set up to play to support him, Ipswich aren't or haven't been set up with him as lead striker, fair play if he gets a contract but he will never be the star attraction I think but a bit part player.

What intrests me in this story is that McGoldrick will return to Forest after this weekend's game does this mean that Billy Davies would plan to give McGoldrick a few games to convince Forest that he is worth keeping??

I think billy davies knows enough about mc goldrick allready, he was like his 3rd or 4th choice striker for the years he was there

Would have been nice to to be able to sign him but assuming they stay up he would be playing at a higher level & being paid more and thats what most players are interested in.

I think if we had of went up this season we would of been the better option, for the long run. But with all the recent bullshit he probably made a wise move. He would of got a better wage off ipswitch even if we were in the championship.

And as you have said money talks
