Possible to return after 7 days, but no idea what conditions have to be met

Was it 14 days for EMC over the international break? Hopefully he's back as i'd play the same team part from Saka in for Rudi as I think we need to be careful with Rudi.

I can see a scenario with both missing unfortunately which is why I think we might change shape but it's all guesswork and I'm happy not to know until the teams announced Saturday.

Players will get properly assessed 2-3 times by a doctor throughout the RTP programme so I'd imagine by day 7/8 they'd probably get a good steer on whether they can get back to it by day 12.

As it'll be 11 days between Middlesbrough and Ipswich I don't really see him being back in time unfortunately. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Lets just hope that we don't get 'Wrexhamed' with our over confidence whilst with key missing players

Just over 2/1 is great odds for a team who have won 11/12
Lampard said last week he expects Haji and Tats back on saturday
Rudi will be 1 or the other

Its got to end at some point, but i dont see it on saturday

I'd be a lot more confident of a win if we knew Sakamoto was available.

Ipswich home form is not great at all this season. Just want us to go for it like we have all season if we win season is over if we lose at least we went all out for it! Does depend on players available though....

Thats good. Kipre is clumsy but think he would have had the beating of Ellis when we pump the ball up to him

Had a look as just took it at face value. Think both are fine with Kirpe having 3 and the other lad having 7.

Think it’s more Ipswich fans not wanting them not to play

I'd seen somewhere on another thread that he was due back for PNE away, this could be wrong and to miss 2 games due to concussion protocols seems like overkill to be honest.

Why? Kipre, despite is size, has been crap in the air this season.

Only 29% aerial duels won compared to Simms' 86% according to Futmob.

We dont tend to play it into is head though? we try and play it into his feet with his back to goal.

Delighted both are playing as they have been utter shite every time I have seen them this season. Kipre is particularly bad when make him try and play out from the back. Bambi on ice x100.

many people are foolish then

He's a big tough defender but that doesn't change the fact he is piss poor with his feet and making him play out from the back is madness and behaviour I hope they continue

It's not about the number of games it's the number of days as explained elsewhere on the thread.
You can get back after 7, so he'd be OK, but it's usually 12, in which case he won't.

I remember him giving Gyokores a real test at our place, won the physical battle but maybe too technically limited to have suited how we play

I'd say we more do a hybrid of hitting balls long for Simms to use his strength and size to out muscle defenders to run on to as well as hitting it long for him to bring others into play.

I don't think it's explicitly one or the other.

2 weeks is a long time considering he "only" got hit with a shot from Grimes!

Maybe Grimes has got legs like schwarzenegger!

To be honest I hope they start the same back line as they did yesterday, they’re really uncomfortable playing out from the back and kept getting themselves into trouble against both Oxford and Blackburn.

We could go one half with an aggressive press, hopefully take the lead then sit in more and hit on the break.

His biggest strength is quite literally his strength.

He'll win the physical battle probably 9 times out of 10 - and even that's probably underselling it - which in a physical league such as the Championship, is obviously a very useful trait to have when you're a defender.

Everything else though he's average to crap.

Considering that it’s concerning they’re awkward at defending set pieces.

Yeah, just to be clear i'm one of the 'fools' who thought we should be in for him based on his performance v Gyokeres (as i only ever see players vs us). Unsurprisingly i am yet to forge a stellar career in football.
