So it's unlikely it was the fact he disagreed with the sale of Fox and Dann and on the direction which they decided to steer the club.
Having listened to the porkies that our owners have put out over the years , I know who I tend to believe.

No, I've never forgotten that, however back then sisu were happy to fund losses, its only been in the last 12-18 months were Sisu have said they won't put anymore money in and that we have to breakeven.

Ranson was just a skilled liar - fisher a poor one. You do know about his prozone loans to the club and the whacking interest rates do you?

They won't get the money and that's why we know they will not build a new stadium, so it's time to just stop the pretence and say there IS no new stadium. This is why we try to piggy back ourselves on stuff like the Butts development.

They dare not say that though. It's all smoke and mirrors and they have to keep up the pretence.

For the life of me I don't know why we keep talking of new stadiums on here. Never going to happen while Sisu are in charge.

They have been looking for investors for years now. No-one is interested.

The only way we will have a new stadium is under new ownership.

So "Break even in 2007" is totally different to "Break even in 2016" is it?.....Load of rubbish Nick!
The only difference is the year.

Fisher got away without being effectively pressed on the new stadium farce during last weeks interview. Their model is clearly a zero funding model so never going to invest their own capital and there won't be a long list of "partners" willing to cosy up with SISU and deliver a new stadium.

No, the "new thing" is we are now truly on our own. In the past SISU would put their hand in their pocket, but no longer, so we really do have to break even now.

How is it rubbish?

You are talking about the figure of attendance needed for the club to not lose money but losses covered.

Now it's in reference to the whole club being self sustained.

That's what has changed which is what he meant and where "new" has come into it.

Not going to argue Nick, "Break even" means "Break even" only it's not when it suits.

Oh come on, have the grace to listen to what people are telling you. No one is having a "go", they are simply explaining the differences.

One thing I've always wondered, didn't we get told we were debt free not so long ago? If so why are we suddenly 10's of millions in debt again? When we were apparently losing 5-10 million a year?

Do you mean "Break even" is only "Break even" when it suits your argument? but are mere words when it doesn't?

But wasn't it said more recently? By Fisher? I may be wrong, but I seem to recall something said along the lines of debt free.

Also, surely we should have been "debt free" after administration?

There is no argument as no one is arguing with you, just pointing out the difference between then and now. You know what the point is, but to save face you wont acknowledge it, which is fair enough. It's not rocket science.

on 6th march 2015.....
It has also been revealed the club had £61m of loans wiped off in order to satisfy Football League rules after part of it entered administration.

'Long term success'
Sky Blues chairman Tim Fisher said that the loans were converted into shares when the club, previously owned by Sisu, was sold to the Otium Entertainment Group as a result of league rules which do not allow debt to be carried over.

The difference is that then break even didn't matter too much as the losses were covered, now they aren't.

That's why when it's said what is new or what is different it is what has been explained to you.

Every club will have a break even figure.

Listen Theresa, having a break even figure and refusing to fund beyond that figure are two different things. Hence the phrase "over budget" existing.

Any idea on our current debt as of today? I thought it was reported at some high figure, bearing in mind nearly 2 years ago we were "debt free".

Listen Nicola Numbnuts, the words "Break even" were quoted by Ranson, and the words "Break even" that were quoted by SISU mean exactly that! "Break even" is that too hard to comprehend Nicola Numbnuts?
