Ah... the classic 'support the team at all costs'. You have had to resort to this as your final argument! Laughable!

You don't agree.

I think you should support the team by trying to save the club.
I won't criticise you for deciding that you want to go. That's your call.
I will have a pop at you for supporting the owners when they do things that are blantenly going to fail and end up hurting us.
I will also have a pop at you for having a pop at other fans who begrudgingly think that the only way they can save their club is by protesting and not attending. Giving up their Saturday fix which is very wrong that they have to do it.

Don't understand half of this thread but today was evidence - if anybody still needed it - that to avoid relegation we desperately need to strengthen. We were easily beaten by a poor team. If they had a decent striker they could have been 3 or 4 up at half time. We got a scrappy goal and one header hit the bar but I don't think we had another effort on target. Basically we were woeful in defence and had nothing up front. We can blame Wasps, CCC, Bryan Richardson and whoever else we want but there's only one way investment can be made and that's by sisu. It's on them now because without investment it's very very hard to see us avoiding the drop.

Why don't you and "Covman" stand by the cash turnstile on Monday and tell everyone going in that they are short sighted and selfish?

I know their is a lot of passion around the go dont go argument. I will follow my tesm away from home when the inclanation takes me and i need to satisfy the urge that has run through me since the 70s. These bastards will only go when they see fit and Fisher doesnt seem to mind what it costs the club or supporters, how the hell someone hasnt had a swing at the smug twat yet is bdyond me. What confounds me is if your paying for a product and its crap you complain or dont use the service. In our case we are being told its our fault the cash flow is shit and we have to supply the funds to make it better. Can some one explain why you would give a landlord more money if he still serves shit beer?

There is no need for arguing.

Its come to point ehere going or boycotting are both valid forms of helping the club in 1 way or another.

Thing is unless fans decide on 1 way to go its gonna be a slow process to see any results

Either sell out ricoh or have it empty. But not sure we will see either for a while.

I think the fact he put "share if you wish" at the end kind of gives it away.

Good job it didn't start a bidding war with him, Sephton and Keys.

Of all the things about SISU that wind me up , this attitude that they won't put any money in to invest because it's somehow reckless is at the top. Any of us could own the club on this basis, we wouldn't have any money to invest either.

Two problems with this argument. First, the fans will only return when results start to improve and the ownership show some signs of being actively interested in rebuilding the club. Second, I do not believe that funds raised from increased attendances would go to improve the product on the pitch rather than into SISU's back pocket.

A successful business NEVER blames its customers especially when its customers have shown such loyalty after many years of poor quality. Fisher and SISU have shown utter contempt for our fans, both those who go and those who no longer go. Not criticizing you for going but conversely you should not criticize those who refuse to go until SISU leave. If the fans packed out the Ricoh it would make no difference in terms of SISU's negligence toward the club we love.

Ah yes, the old "cash flow" bollocks. TF said that we were cash flow positive 16 months ago. Since then we have sold numerous players and it looks like we will be selling Stevenson this January as well. If we continually sell our better players and replace them with worse players, the club can go in one direction only, relegation and more drops in attendances.

There is supporting the team which is not always the same as supporting the club. I didn't go inside Sixfields as I felt by doing that I would be harming the club. It is two different things. It might be that next season for what I would feel to be for the good of the club that I don't renew my season ticket. If we have no club we will definitely have no team.

It's certainly not going to be sold out. I think a lot will simply not go as they have had enough, not as some form of protest. The football is poor, the team are losing, we may be in division 4 and with Sisu there is no hope. For some they will decide that as "customers" they will not buy the "product" any more.

Yes people have had enough which is fair enough.

What isn't us to pretend they are making a moral stance and accuse those who still go as being "part of the problem"
