If Fisher takes over, I am hoping they can bring out a line of CCFC shirts for dogs.

Red Bull are building a new 80000 stadium. The fans have already got their tickets for Bayern away. Will be a total sell out. Top of the Bundesliga.

That, compared to us.... I think being despised is the way to go...

A bit more to report
Apparently it's a takeover, Venus will be gone as they want there own man in with some cash. Stumbling block is the ground as the council are holding out for more than is being offered
I believe wasps are not the stumbling block
It will be a major investment

Thanks for the update malaka can't help thinking that you and others are relating it to the wrong ground. I can not see that wasps would want to sell the lease it would deprive them of everything they have worked to achieve and would stop further growth, mean repayment of bonds, new financial targets, trusting the rugby club to perhaps owners with no interest in rugby and doing it on the back of an entity that provides under 3% of the site current turnover. You would not carve the lease out of ACL if it were the ricoh as a target and money no object you would buy wasps holdings then ccfc and give ccfc a lease same as wasps rfc (that's not the 250 year one btw). It just doesn't stack up

This is I think a property driven thing (if it happens) with ccfc being the anchor tenant. So first and foremost it is about acquiring property not ccfc -and pretty sure wasps is not for sale in part or whole. I don't think it is about the ricoh at all but could be about bpa even a new site.

It is a way out for fisher arvo and sisu. Which might explain the lack of communication on one side and the overly aggressive attitude to the trust enquiry on the other. Not saying something isn't happening but there are some ill thought out leaps being taken in this thread. My money if anything happening would be on bpa development and hence hold up in lease transfers involving council holding out.

I've had a premonition.
The year is 2025 and the current FA cup holders RB CCFC are sitting
In 5th place in the premier league, hoping to push on and clinch a top
4 finish to secure CL football for the 3rd successive season.
Meanwhile Torch, Nick and Grendel continue to spearhead their NOPM
Campaign to rid the club of the current successful ownership.

To be fair SISU are working on that. It won't be long before they have our attendances into 3 figures and you'll be welcoming RB with open arms

I didn't say they would remain..... but this is not in my opinion a scheme that will somehow oust wasps and leave ccfc in control at the ricoh ...... that's pure fantasy I think

It has become that CD in some ways but even if it is a property business first and foremost that's what will underpin the rugby club because it makes the profits where rugby doesn't. Think you will find the owner and the directors all love their rugby and can mix business objectives with it

I suspect all this is pure speculation by Malaka, as something this big even as a rumour there would have been leaks however small from other sources including CT.

I think this is just an ego trip for the OP as his original post was slipping out of sight and this latest small tit-bit has revived it again.

Hope very much I am wrong and that something is happening.

Regards.

id take being top of the prem and being despised!

i am 34 now. the reality is ccfc may never give us any joy for rest of our lifetime.

i would take a hit on kits, names etc if it meant winning games and trophies etc

like i said they may allow us to keep sky blue but have the red bull trim , it would still be recognisable.

and thats if it is RB who are interested of course. i personally hope that they are

amazing, a mere rumour about a real future for our club, with owners who have success
On their minds, and certain posters are falling over each other to preach doom and gloom.
Like what we have is perfectly acceptable, I get the feeling there are insular supporters
Who would be more than happy with sub 1000 crowds, in there own little tinpot stadium
In non league, as long as they all thought the same way.

Would explain his reasons for still being here I suppose, after all if he's to be believed.hic.
He receives nothing for being here, so he must be working towards something.
Would finally give me reason to give up.

If you wanted to take a hit on kits and names etc if it means winning trophies then there are other teams out there you could support that could fulfil your needs a bit quicker.

In the same way Red Bull Saltzburg are still Austria Saltzburg? Or Red Bull Leipzig are still SSV Markranstädt? Different clubs.

Note that our kit has already changed to predominantly white, if we come back in the new year and the white has taken on a more silver hue watch out. Also if the players are wired to the tits on caffeine, although it'd be nice to see a bit of energy anyway.

TF and the BPA FFS. That's exactly what the club needs. A less ambitions, less intelligent BR. What could possibly go wrong? Out the frying pan and into the fire.
