Sisu want money back that is obvious, but the longer they hold out the less the offer will be to buy the club, as all know we are losing money. Eventually the only cause of action will be for sisu to put the club into admin to which an outside audtior will try to sell the club and get whoever we owe money to paid off, SISU.

Hence Hoff sitting on his hands waiting for SISU to say enough is enough we are off but in the mean time trying everything to get money back and every source to collect money to protect their investment.... ALL ENDING IN TEARS... End game has now upon us ...

our first 2 games are against the 2 favourites for the title, so if we take admin, we will still be on -10 after those games

How much would SISU get for the bronze in Jimmy Hill's statue...?

Tuesday is the day for an announcement then - what kind of announcement is anyone's guess! This thread originally stated that so what else do you know Snozzer??!

Hopefully there will be some sort of leak beforehand....

Maybe Joe Elliott is auctioning off his sheepskin jacket collection to pay for half the Ricoh!?

I can only imagine over the next week or so, little bits of information are going to be bled out, trying to appease our fears but instead confounding them.
Id be very surprised if theres actually any action in the next week, just more chuff being spurned out by various parties.

It is worrying though, something needs to happen and fast.

That's fine Macca, we know from your "witticisms" that you don't really get excited or passionate about Coventry City FC. Maybe try Arsenal?

Very passionate about city, not passionate about rumour, hearsay and ifs and buts. Wake me up when we have some facts. I ll positively shoot me load when sisu go. Now THATS passion

No worries mate, I'm very cynical too-but wheras you vent succinctly, it tends to make me rant long-windedly. Unlike this particular post.

Just found it and read through.......very worrying.

As a financial layman, my take on this is as follows:

SISU do not wish to invest any of their own money, unless it becomes repayable under admin. Possibly , if they are the biggest creditors, they get first offerings from any rescue plan submitted to the administrators?

Additionally, they are keeping the club afloat, at minimal cost to themselves, while they play 'chicken' with any potential buyers - eg the Hoff.

This is going to be a battle of wits and of nerves, as Snozzer said, we will have to decide which side we are on.

For me, it is clear that sisu have no intention of investing speculatively in the team, they just want to get out with minimal losses.

I think Admin is the only way the club can clear it's debts, long term. Unfortunately.

I see it roughly similar, only I think SISU selling up to Hoff would be the best for the club. Undoubtedly better for all parties-including those community firms that would possibly go bust-than administration. Possibly apart from SISU. And there's the rub.

Just think how many players we'll lose for nothing in administration. It aint like the good old days when Leicester used it as a way of avoiding pain. There will barely be a club left, certainly not a Championship one. -10 points from now makes us probably down, before Turner, Sammy etc leave for about 50-150k each.

Better for the club if SISU can sell to Hoffman + investors.
Better for the investors if they wait until SISU put us in admin.

Let's say that positions will get clarified publicly. It's going to get messy but the fans will need to make it clear which camp they are in.

See what you make of the news when it comes out. You've had an early tip off and the sway of power to some extent will be in the hands of the fans.

fans have a better chance of influencing the direction of travel.

SISU aren't ting ball, they want a return on their investment whereas GH's investors want them to walk away and that's the sticking point. SISU still won't treat the bid as formal so I think the plan is for a lot of this to go public. It could be that fan power helps sway the balance as right now it's deadlock. I just meant it's going to be an interesting week with both sides publicly showing their positions. There's a few more specific things I've got wind of but does that help for now?

so - if this is what Snozzer is saying - what does he know ?

Hate to say but I don't think I said it would be ok! There's serious investment on the table being fronted by someone with sky blue blood. My concern is if this drags on they'll go elsewhere. Sorry but at this stage it's deadlock and something needs to happen, sone sort of groundswell of support in order to move SISU aside.

Balls, I must have dreamt up the "ok" bit!

The CT poll last week had Hoffman-98 % of fans backing SISU-under 2%. But what are we actually meant to do?

SISU will be lucky to get a 25% of their investment back if they enter Admin - there's nothing left to sell.

Any new owner will want to put their investment into the purchase of the RICOH and not taking on a debt for ..... well for the last few seasons.

It's easy to see how it's deadlock at the moment - one side will have to give a little as its clear to see from the short term loan that SISU are not here for the long term!

I don't know the answer to that but the fact that it's almost another month to our next game limits the options. By that time they could have given up on us. I believe they've talked to the council about buying into the stadium on the condition that they prove to be responsible owners so say within a 3-4 year period. I think that's sensible.

Snozzer - you know too much , to either not be connected to the bid or otherwise in the media - therefore if correct once the information becomes clearer, you may need to have the answer
