I do not agree. It is the only solution from where we are now which has the clear potential to be a success.

Fair enough if you feel that way, but the Bristol example is not a valid comparison imo. If we were talking CCFC and CRFC then it might have a chance - that would be a partnership the city could buy into - but CCFC and Wasps? Way too much baggage for that to ever work.

Some years ago Newcastle were tipped to go Football and Rugby in one club - never got off the ground - two different sets of ideals

In my opinion, it would be a very good solution to the current problems. A powerful group, owning both clubs and the arena, with all the commercial outlets, would give stability, security and success. In theory it would be brilliant. In practice, it would depend on the overall owners.

Not a good mix ! but efficiency of using a stadium with two income streams is probably a good thing

Ashley is the one person that might take the gamble and with the ex crystal palace chairman between them would be able to afford 60 or 70 million that maybe would get sisu interested.

Ashley and Jordan in one consortium. Don't see any way that would end in tears.

See I disagree - us + the Ricoh would be worth 55m alone - see Derby sale. Add Wasps in - despite how much we hate them - you’d have a historic rugby club on the books. Throw the netball team in, take over the Coventry ladies team again, you can push for WSL spot.

you’d Have a Coventry sports empire for around 60m

How much are the Coventry Blaze while we are at it?

If buying the wasps might as well get the Coventry Bees while we are at it lol.

Does the exhibition Centre get used much nowadays? That could be used to home some form of sports team like Netball, basketball etc

Now this is a plan. Get a flippable pitch with one side ice and the other grass, bung a shale track round the outside and have a few people wandering round firing shirts out of guns.
