I saw something on fb a few weeks ago which said that we had the highest number of missed quality chances. Something like 79. If that is true (is anything on fb true?), and we had converted some, out GD would be even more incredible.
That’s a natural consequence of creating the most chances.

Our xg is 35.1, we have actually scored 47. Our rate of converting chances is exceptional.

I think its being well drilled in defence and looking to do something with the ball.

Whether we are fitter I dont know, probably, but certainly we are far better organised. The players know who to press, who to pick up and what is going on.

I think with the ball we are show far more endeavour, generally our midfielders and wide players are looking to do something attacking. Gone are the days of constant checking back inside and caution.

In my opinion those two things are linked, because if you know how to win the ball back high up the pitch, you're far more likely to play an aggressive pass or look to beat a man.

We are also quite pragmatic, willing to go long over the press which then allows us to play out later when the opposition drop and there is more space. We arent dogmatically stuck to the playing out and directly into a press.
