I am as disappointed as anyone else into the whole fiasco surrounding my club, not bothered who is to blame, acl ccc, sisu, i couldnt care less now as i am running out of reasons why i should continue supporting this debacle.

After a promising 4 months of football the ccfc train seems to be coming off the rails in a big way,

Where do we go from here? Whats left to play for? Pride professionalism?

Me and my son have hit an all time low following my beloved club, so low i think enough is enough now.

we have multiple of our best players out of contract in the summer and we are likely to be in a transfer embargo by then, things are only going to get worse untill sisu leave.

Where do we go from here? I'll tell you:

- We will play the rest of our games, maraude to between 12th and 17th and never be in any real danger of relegation.
- When we win, people on here will bang the 'play off drum' whilst being the same people quick to exchange it for 'relegation drum' after the odd defeat or two.
- We'll continue to argue about SISU, Sixfields and everything else without any of us being the wiser to whats really going on whilst trying to get a grasp on business and financial aspects that the majority of us are utterly clueless about. This will lead to wild accusations, rumours and crazy assumptions which (unfortunately) some will take as gospel.

The reality is this. We have a small squad, made up mostly of academy graduates and the barrel scraped in the transfer market. It is, what it is. We started 10 pts behind everyone else and I think at the start of the season considering our predicament and off field shenanigans, everyone would've taken survival and everyone was surprised at our early season form.

As far as the on field situation, I'm just happy for us to survive relegation this season taking all our factors into account.

Just be honest with yourselves.. .it was never gonna last was it. Serial under achiever journeyman striker and academy graduate scoring every game.. . Our real on pitch issues all season have been at the back.. .

It is the lowest point in the club's history by a million miles.
We are a bloody shambles.
We'd be better off playing at 'Dowell's Field' just off the Humber Road - as we did more than a hundred years ago - than in Northampton.
I fear it will get worse.
Pressley doesn't believe in loans. What does he get from Waggott & co - loans. This is the grim reality. 18 year old schoolboys. You are seeing the systematic break up of a club. Bit by painful bit.
The bigger picture? There is no bigger picture. While we are in Northampton there is no picture.
The long term fan who came on the radio after the game - you could hear the despondency in his voice. 50 years of support and it is reduced to this.
What is the point of a club that doesn't play its home games in its home town?

Amazing how many don't care or have lost interest and didn't know we had a game but logged in as soon as our result turned around to us losing.

I would love to see success in my lifetime but nothing will stop me supporting ccfc whether it is champions league or conference.

I have grown up with relegation battles every year, I can't even really remember fa cup

Liquidation or 2 relegations over the next 5 seasons is your choice with these chumps and neither would I stop my support. Bloody difficult when I can't watch them at home

A couple of defeats and it's all 'doom & gloom' again, need to look at the longer term and the bigger picture and stop wallowing and being totally obsessed by who owns our Club.

The problem is the bigger picture and longer term all look like shit, deep steaming piles of stinky shit. Yet on the pitch we've performed better than we've had the right too with such a young, small and shallow squad, these great performances have allowed some restbite from thinking about the big steaming pile of shit we are sinking ever deeper into. As these great performances dry up and and the squad gets worse then there is nothing to distract from what is being done to the club and the almost zero chance of it getting better under the current owners.

Honestly the great performances allowed a nice little bit of delusion and unrealistic talk of play offs, but everyone likes a little bit of delusion to get through the day, unfortunately its now really hard to fool yourself into believing its going to be all right.
