great article that, Best one I have seen on CT for a very long time.

Great news about Godden as well. Likely to only be out for 4 weeks more now

Marosi
Dabo McFadz(Hyam) Rose McCallum(Mason)
Allen(Westbrook) Kelly Ohare
Jones Godden Hiwula

That looks decent enough, Play offs minimum when all our players are fit! I am liking the 3 at the back though as we aren't conceding many and look solid!! Maybe Jones could work playing just off Godden in a front 2 aswell

When we play them at St Andrews maybe! Can't see them being anywhere near match fit for the game up there. Need to get in substantial minutes with the U23s first.

What happened to mccallum, heard on the coach from st Andrews he had a heart issue and would be lucky to play football again.
not sure how much truth is in this but shipleys dad was on the coach.
exciting prospect hope this ain't true

Fuck me, where do some fans think of this shit (not you). It's a small injury to his torso. Hopefully back in training this week but they are playing the waiting game.

Wishful thinking trumps evidence then does it?

Read it again. He’s not made it up. He’s sharing from talking to one of the first team players dads. I just hope the assumption about the consequences is not as major as he is suggesting

Only real evidence is that Robins said it was a torso injury.

I think you need to read it again. It is a random bloke saying it, and Shipley's dad was simply on the coach.

There is no wishful thinking. It's words out of Robins mouth about his torso.

McCallum has a rare disorder where his heart is in his torso. Make of that, what you will.

Gosh you'd think they'd have picked that up during his fitness test wouldn't you. Bet he's got hands for feet as well....

Maybe I've received this twisted, but from what I've been told, Shipley dad or family member was on the coach and he said that he had a heart condition that would mean he would be lucky to play again.

I mean i doubt this very much as players always have hear monitors n stuff, it would have been spotted very quick

I thought robins was very coy about his issue. As he’s only just come into professional football he may well only just be catching up with the tests academy kids have and so something could have been found doesn’t have to be career threatening but we’ve seen it before with James Taylor to name one top sports star. Speculation is all we have on a forum really isn’t it so someone ( I don’t know a reporter) should probably ask some questions. What would be the problem with saying he’s had a test and it’s shown some anomalies that need sorting out but he should be back before Christmas. There’s keeping cards close to gain an advantage of course but this would be different. From what I know it’s unlikely he’ll be playing tomorrow. If he is I’ll be really pleased. I also think if there is something the support he’d receive would be huge

Looks like he could be involved on Saturday so 2 and 2 = 4 rather than 7

Coventry City receive welcome boost as four players set to return
Hiwula, McCallum, Kelly back in training. Biamou and others picked up the bug from Kelly apparently

ANDDD....Breath...
He's travelled.

I thought it was very unlikely, but was worth posting.
Turns out he just had a muscle injury. Hopefully that's it...

Thankfully it looks as though the scare with young Sam McCullum was a false alarm
Much better to be safe than sorry though
