I would be chuffed with six months, would take us to the second international break of next season to have him back

Of course that is a best case scenario I imagine

Rough timing if true - depending on what we do in the summer he could conceivably struggle to get back into the side.

The minute it happened anyone could tell you that was his season done

Seeing him again in the first quarter of next season would be a result

Surely we can’t go into next season with Wilson as first choice, no disrespect

Yeah of course mate; it’s more how it affects our plans for next season which is just as big of an issue, I think we have to sign another keeper

A real shame. Time for one of Wilson or Collins to become a hero.

No, but if next season is gearing up to be an all-out assault on promotion (and the signing of Grimes suggests it is) then it would seem likely that Lampard would want to sign a true #1 of his choosing, rather than muddle through until Christmas.

Problem is its using budget on an area that we probably though didnt need any.

Let's hope the scan in the week is better news, but club doctor and physio think it's that

That fucking wanker Campbell. Make no mistake, knew what he was upto and some on here fawn over the way they play. Horrible cunts and always will be, hope their entire team get their ankles snapped.

We definitely need one of our players to severely hurt one of them. Been too much damage the other way.

Specifically him can have both his ankles snapped. Might start a gofundme towards some lump of a centre back doing it.

A loan for a promising/surplus keeper will hopefully be rarely inexpensive - Chelsea have about 10 tell Frank to give them a ring

Terrible news. And we now have to sign a player we don’t really need. I’d go for a prem loan.

You could tell the way his knee reactd from the impact it was going to be a bad one. Campbell from the 1st minute was at it and had the ref pulled him up for the way he put his face in Grimes he may of calmed down. Horrible player that sort of suits the club and manager.

My disdain to them had quelled a bit before this season but they are still the same underhanded shithouses they have always been

I hope they get bounced all over the Premier League next season, again

I genuinely think I would be happier to see Sunderland go up than them

Really bad news if true. Wouldn't have him back till next Christmas. We seem to be cursed with ACL injuries.

Time for Wilson and Collins to step up. Both have played in big wembley games before. Now hopefully one of them had a chance to do it again and this time get the victory.

I have no issues with Wilson as a backup. We don't have an unlimited amount of money and there's other areas that I would prioritise. But if Dovin is out until January we'll have to look at bringing someone in, maybe we can find a decent loan until January although not sure there's many Dovin calibre keepers available for loan.

My concern is Lampard has Collins ahead of Wilson, we're almost certainly going to get him for the rest of the season. Can we rule out him being offered another 12 months?

Just feels like we get more than our fair share of injuries . Every time we get close to a full squad we lose another. This is a big one though. It was a comparatively nothing incident really , the worst injuries usually are.

It's just a freak incident. Dovin has done that before and came out with a Wahey from the fans, I wouldn't want him to stop playing the ball like he does.

i don't blame Campbell. He had to challenge for the ball. Impact happens sometimes.

We have 3 keepers. So let's play the other 2 till dovin gets back. Hopefully they are good enough to not force us to recruit a new keeper
