I prefer to think of Mr Fisher as a modern day Cabinet Minister of Margaret Thatcher and we all know what happened there.

I hate the pair of them. One took my milk away from me. The other took my football club away from me.

my own opinion of Fisher is that he would easily sell his soul to the devil,
imho, he cares 0% for the fans of Coventry City,
& is very happy to take his money, nothing of which, is for the fans,
& all of which is for his own sake,
imho, he is an utter charlatan

I would like to blame Grendel but he changes his stance so much depending on the argument its hard to know what you are blaming him for.

'No one should go to Sixfields also no one should go to the Ricoh.'
Next minute he is off to Sixfields.
'No one should go to Sixfields to protest about people going to Sixfields. '
Next minute 'those asking those at Sixfields about what protests they are doing. Should go there and protest themselves. '

Is this a protest thread? I assume you'll be avoiding it then as you prefer to let others do it for you don't you?

So today you want me to go to Sixfields to protest.

In the past those who disagree with Sixfields should not go there and protest?

Pick a day pick a view point.....

No Don if you want to protest do so -- just don't ask others to do it.

Have you been on the hill yet?

No I don't intend to travel to Northampton for any reason there is nothing for me there. I will take your previous instruction to your fellow supporters that they should not be attending Northampton to go inside or to protest outside.

That's fine then -- you can't be bothered to do anything yourself and want everyone else to do it for you. You must be naturally a lazy person. Fair enough.

Have you been on the hill yet? Of course you haven't and we all know that. You have told us enough times that you won't go anywhere near that ground. You keep telling us you are protesting by not going.

You are so right. We should all take a step back and let SISU do what they want to do to our club. Life is so short we won't miss it for that long.

Unfortunately it is this (very british) viewpoint that means nothing ever gets done in this country.

Did you miss his fanfare at the weekend about going to Sixfields and how the experience liberated him? In his own words "it didn't make me feel dirty".
He made more noise about it than SISU did about submitting their accounts.

Apparently you can't comment on it now unless you have been. Which is strange because Grendel has been jawing his gob on it all season.

His reason for not going is because he doesn't enjoy away matches. Probably because he has to sit with those riff raff Coventry fans. He had to move location during the match at Sixfields because the first lot of neighbours weren't his cup of tea.

I was only joking chaps on a post from another thread. Perhaps everyone should get together for alcohol and canapes and let bygones be bygones. Grendal can bring the Dom Perignon . ;-)

How could anyone miss it?

I got accused of pouncing on him when I mentioned he had spent all season saying his proof that he hates and doesn't back SISU like just about everyone was that he was boycotting Northampton, and that also made him to be doing something about our plight

Pretty much sums up the last couple of days on here across a number of threads. Its been a pretty hard read most of the time, and on a serious note, puts me off "contributing" with all the personal battles going on.

I'd rather think of Fisher as the man who dropped the Club in the mire--Just like Blair & Brown did to the Country.

Haha! SISU will do whatever they want to our club, no matter how much protesting we do. That is about as harsh as reality gets. As someone said earlier, Fisher (and Joy) Dont give a flying fuck about the fans of CCFC, they Dont even care about the club itself.

Clearly not. Midweek games are always a challenge. However, having been to one game and not consciously missing the weekly routine I am disappointed and wished I was attending.
