According to Covcity mad there's an investor trying to contact the club. He has backers willing to invest but can't get through to the right people!

Could be bs but gives me hope

Sounds far too good to be true that type of case would but the club buy half the stadium run the club for two years with 40 mill for transfers...

An investor trying to contact the club? Bullshit. Why would he be trying to contact the club and not just contact the club? Is it the same trying as in "I'm trying to win the lottery?"

Thinking about it, wasn't it around this point in the season that Leicester were taken over last year? That came out of nowhere aswell..

I've just read the article and I'm shocked that Kev Monks would stoop so low to type such utter clap trap. At a time where the clubs future is in doubt the last thing we need is stories of London based business men turning up at strangers doors saying they know somebody thousands of miles away that want to invest £80-100m in the remains of CCFC.

I'ts no funny and last time i checked the date we were nearer Xmas than April fools day. Last thing we need is some pathetic rumour going the rounds that looks like something from a Eastenders.

I suggest Kev Monks removes the article. It's embarrasing and It's not clever. I can't believe he even typed such tripe up.

I think Monksy may be confused with Indian owned Tata who are investing in Cov by making Whitley the Head Office for Jaguar Land Rover.

If it looks like it and smells like it it is usually BS.

It's embarrasing writing such dribble drabble. Monkesy gets some stick a lot undeserved but you can't defend him when he types such a story.

I say again he should pull it from his website.

Can't find the owners? We all know where the Ricoh is, and Brinner and co found where SISU's main offices are. Their phone number is easy enough to find. How could anyone have so much cash but be too thick not to be able to find anyone or even know anyone with enough braincells to do it for them?

The indian investment bit would be great but difficult to believe. What "rings true" is that they have tried to contact the club and noone has returned their calls. That happens to fans, Marlon King's agent, other Chairmen - in fact they do not have the courtesy to get back to anyone. That's why we are becoming a laughing stock and losing respect throughout football.

Agreed, Kev Monks is a top guy --- he is Sky Blues from top to bottom and I have never known him speculate or take wild assumptions. He is respected by everyone at CCFC Ltd. His inside knowlwedge is second to none.

Whether this is BS or truth, do we really want investors that are unable to find the way to SISU HQ? If they are unable to make an approach to the club and have to go through a Fan's house, then I don't really want them at our club. I want owners that are confident and COMPETANT!

Turns up at "a supporters house" ? what rubbish .......... whats wrong with turning up at the reception at the Ricoh ?

As London based how about just visiting SISU's offices ?

Why print this rubbish .......... hardly likely to encourage SISU to do business with him either.

Joe Dhinsa comes to mind.

its my understanding that this is the investment that Joe Elliot, Ray Ranson, Gary Hoffamn, and Richard Keys had lined up to take over the club, as it was at a early stage and they did not want to be identified, until the financial details were in place, however I believe it is still in the early stages with on going talks between Hoffmns team and the two investors, I have posted on here with a simliar story, this takeover should be ready by seasons end.:claping hands::claping hands::claping hands::claping hands::claping hands:

I might mock Cov Mad and its terrible coverage, but if the Sultan of Brunei knocks on my door later asking if he knows where to stash his billions I'll feel duty bound to never doubt another word the site says. Joe Cole on loan, let's go.

The curry house in town, already sank 15 pints of Fosters, had the fight and was rounding it off with a vindaloo!
