Don't get it, why do people want to riot and kick off here about it?

Traditionalist nationalism / patriotism. Live here but no real loyalty to this country. Hope to create a climate to encourage UK government to interfere in the Indian subcontinent. Would have thought an MP might have grown up beyond that.

Hopefully a close eye will be kept on social media for inappropriate posts and action swiftly taken. Else accusations of two tier justice will resurface.

There will be many people here who will have either been born in or have Indian or Pakistani heritage. So it will be of huge significance to them, especially given the history between the two countries.

There are, of course ways, to do that peacefully and respectfully.

Call a waahmbulance, this endless two-tier bullshit is utterly tedious.

As is your bollocks about people of Indian or Pakistani heritage having no loyalty to this country. Unbelievable racist shite, as usual.

Now I know it tends to upset racists when they're called racist, so I've got a solution for you. Keep your racist shite to yourself.

But I didn’t.

You must have misread a post, again. Seems to happen fairly regularly that some people want to get their kneejerk brainwash response published they don’t bother to read what is actually said and contemplate it.

None of you internationalist left wingers ever actually seem to come up with an explanation why immigrants should want to cause unrest or undertake terrorist activities in this country.

You must have difficulty reading as well, especially anything which isn’t in direct line with the brainwashing you have exper.
You don’t know me (afaik). I am oldish now, there are some things I am bitter about, and probably confused. Point me to a post you felt was disgusting and I will try to look at it from that perspective.

Sometimes I see things from a certain theoretical or logical point of view. Some of them I feel compelled to post. Some people will not like or not want to give any thought to that perspective because it is so at variance with their brainwashing.

Why aren’t reparations being sought from the countries who have destroyed the rain forests, contributing to climate change?

Why are reparations being sought by descendants of slaves some of those reparations from a country which had a major role in the abolition of that vile trade? I suppose it would be disgusting to suggest that foreign aid could be viewed as very long ongoing reparation, albeit not ending up shared in an entire population’s pocket.

Further, no one from the left seem to even attempt to give a rationale for why immigrants would want to cause major unrest here. I would have more respect for them if they did.

Am I bitter? Possibly. I do find it difficult to grasp the concept of minorities receiving very biased treatment and support to the potential detriment of majorities. This NI element of the trade deal with India for example. Easy to see how that could end up being disastrously unpopular and have a negative impact on, say, the NHS. More people equals more illness but not more taxation to provide more funding.

I look forward to some explanations, rather than the typical responses which frankly are just making me dig my heels in.

My comment was to try and prevent any more two tier bullshit.

IF there were Muslim calls for violent actions / retribution against Indian’s and their assets in this country, and there was no similar judicial action to what happened in the summer - how would you describe it? Equitable? Biased? Two tier?

I really don’t see it as Equitable, but that won’t stop you shooting the messenger.

Which party have the majority of Muslims voted for and supported? Tory, Reform, Labour, Liberal, Green?

In terms of loyalty to this country, to suggest absolutely none was probably a bit of an overstatement. There are certainly mixed loyalties either of which can come to the fore and could be seen as a lack of loyalty on a given particular issue at a given time.

pakistani protest london 7 May

Throat cutting gesture from a Pakistani High Commission officer towards people protesting in support of his country @ 1:40

?Diplomatic immunity?

Avoids any suggestion of two tierism

The diplomatic solution probably is for him to be sent home having been identified and declared persona non grata. That is not me being disgusting, that is what is the internationally accepted process when diplomatically immune people avoid local prosecutions.

Do they in return get no claim on future UK pensions for paying a stamp. Not sure how that works for non naturalised workers with significant UK stays. A lot of fuss on twitter over this but not seen any direct defence over it by government spokesmen.

Sorry but this is bollocks. There are plenty of people with Indian or Pakistani heritage in the UK who very much identify as English / British.

Its designed for temporary workers and is the same agreement with have with many other countries that nobody seems to have had a problem with up until now.

The idea is if you work for an, in this instance, Indian company and they sent you to the UK for 6 months you keep paying whatever their equivalent of NI is rather than paying here. So no they wouldn't be claiming a UK pension.

If you're attempting to move here long term / permanently it wouldn't apply and you'd pay NI here.

The. Point is, I couldn’t give any practical help but, as is often said here, there are generally many hypothetical offers of lifts to people for reasons other than ideology. Perhaps not as many as would pick him up and bring him back, but sufficient.

Hard to have a problem with something that you don’t know anything about.

They may not end up with an entitlement to a UK pension., but presumably will be entitled to NHS treatment without contributing which was where I was commenting from. I can see it’s a good incentive to encourage staff to come here for a shortish period with little or no financial penalty. They may not be quite so happy when private cataract replacements at £2,500 a go are needed because of insufficient provision and increased demand are needed t avoid sight threatening waiting lists.

Having had to pay for one myself has probably added to my bitterness. And a private hernia operation. Thank goodness I’m a millionaire in @ shmmee s world.

"The NICs concession is expected to cost the exchequer about £100m in lost revenue, a government source told the Guardian.

Jonathan Reynolds, the business secretary, told broadcasters on Wednesday that this was “less than a tenth” of the £1bn in additional tax revenue the deal is expected to bring"

I guess the real cost is in training and jobs for UK residents being shipped to citizens of a foreign country.
