Inconsistant officials (again) (1 Viewer)

Chief Commentator!
Last week, I think it was, Reading conceded a goal against Hull where Aaron Mclean was blatantly offside, running tiwards the ball. He didnt touch the ball, so was not flagged offside.

Now Sunderland have just had a goal disallowed because Wickham was in an offside position, but did not touch it!! Yet goal was still awarded.

Officials really do ruin our games far too much.

Ok the goal shouldnt have counted, but its been discounted for the wrong reason!

In the defence of referees they do a tough job, i've done the course whilst at uni and got so much stick from both sides in each game I was in charge of, after calling the game the way I saw it.

give them a break, bring in TV sepp!

My lad played an amateur game today, the ref was well known and all said he's good but even so he found himself influenced by players/fans.
I think if we expect perfect decisions then get robots as the human element is something we have to put up with,it all adds to the game I think.
