For me could be a factor for the delay, a few of his main targets being 100% agreed & finalised before he signs & then these will be announced shortly after?

Just a possibility....

That doesn't sound like a small detail though, which is what Andy Turner has said. Could be, but I doubt it at this stage.

Sure was 5-2 last game of Eric Black.

City fans dressed as Sheikhs singing "Richer than Chelsea!!" As CCFC had been linked with a Middle East takeover that week....all gone so well since.

The delay in him signing is the reason for the delay in incoming players....SISU should have had all this sorted before the last game

Seriously doubt TM was interested in negotiations before knowing what league we'd be playing in.

even i dont blame them for that one. No way in the world TM would have stayed if we were in League Two and at one point, a Crewe goal would have put us there

How serious are they in him? The contract could have been in place based on us staying up...it really isn't difficult.

Could be if TM said so. He's in the driving seat not SISU.
Let's suggest TM says no negotiations until season finished. Highly plausible.

Talks started 2 days after the season finished. I'm sorry, but Mowbray said no negotiations till after the season finished. If you want to keep working yourself up with personal hypotheses keep going.

Incoming players ? I don't think contracts are up until the end of May, thats when the football season normally finishes. Players and managers will be off on holiday so although a lot of ground work will be done i doubt there will be too many signings until next month, lots of rumour and speculation but it will be June before much happens officially.

I would think that neither party wanted a distraction from the relegation battle which would be only rite.

The window doesn't open until 9th June so only free agents now. Surely you don't think SISU will be buying freebies? Oh, wait a mo....

I think most division one clubs will be taking "freebies" as you put it, the days of transfer fees in our division and below have almost gone.

Exactly. Would be pretty unprofessional otherwise considering we were in a relegation battle.
