In the unlikely event we beat Colchester and Hartlepool and with many of the top 6 playing each other this week (mid week and Saturday).. there is a slight chance we might find ourselves in the play offs come 5 pm Saturday -- or at the worst 1 point off.
Once again Sky Blues must seize this opportunity for once !

Agreed, must win games for us and pretty easy ones to be fair. Would be great if we can get back in the Championship the players must have belief just like we had against Preston and we must not give up and let this slip.

PUSB!

I said it in a post on Saturday after the game - but this is a massive opportunity in the next two games. I think the main thing is we dont want to hear any excuses - if we cant beat these two at home in the situation we are in, then we flat out dont deserve to be in the playoffs anyway.

I think we would have to have everything go exactly right for us to be in the playoffs by the end of Saturday - I dont see that happening but if we win these two games we definately would have made some good ground on sixth place thats for sure.

Looking at other teams should give us hope as well.Swindon's next 5 away matches are Brentford,Yeovil,Doncaster,MK and Sheff Utd,about as tough as you ccould get.Brentford still have to play Swindon,Doncaster, and visit MK,Sheff Utd and the Ricoh.
If and it is a massive with our home form,we could win our next three,it is highly likely we could even be in the top 6 by then.Of the rest Bournmouth and Yeovil seem to have the easiest run in on paper at least, however we only have 2 points to make up on Bournmouth. This week is our big chance, question is,can our players seize it?

I somehow don't think he was trying to "Diss" our team in your words. Its true and we all have to face it we can't let this slip beyond us.

just think if we could have held a lead v swindon (yes they battered us but we were only 5minutes away)

with them 3 points worse off and us 3 better off, we would be right there

My name is obviously not Mr Loyal Supporters either, that would be ridiculous and stupid why would my mother call me that feck sake!

And your the elephant ? I knew it I thought Sam cleared his desk a long time a go and left for the circus, because we couldn't afford to pay his wages?

Which reminds me, haven't seen Jesus at a home game for a long time.

Probably explains our home form!!

We've kind of said that each home defeat has killed our chances for the last few weeks, but you'd have to think that if we don't do the business in what looks a favourable week we can draw a line under any talk of playoffs. It just makes all those points thrown away all the more frustrating when you see how freakishly good we're doing away from home.

its not about the next two, the last two or even whats gone before that....until its mathematically impossible you keep going...who knows what other teams will do and as for the next two games we should know that teams at the bottom are always hard games at this time of year so I am taking nothing for granted

And if your autie had balls she'd be your uncle. Too amny if onlys already this season. I think we've blown it, though I'd cite the Crewe game not the Swindon one.

Crewe hurt more for sure. Swindon game sucked as it was so late, but we should have been obliterated long before.

Realistically we should take at least 4 points out of the next two games!

My thoughts exactly.

Not going to even let the play-offs enter my thoughts unless we win tomorrow and Saturday.

Let's win those two and then see where we are.

I think we'll get 4 points from the next 2 home games, but we need 6 points and hopefully Pressley has a plan, I read somewhere that he thinks he knows what's behind our home form, if he's right and we improve our form though, is a different matter.

Steven Pressley's Sky Blue Army!
