Regardless of all legal action I am happy to talk to Joy Seppala again, and her colleagues, to see if compromise can be reached. I want Coventry City Football Club to play at the Ricoh Arena, but not on terms that would not justify public scrutiny.

Her tone, compared to Mutton's beligerant confrontation, is a refreshing change.

If only she'd been in charge earlier!

Whether it's too late to force resolution I don't know, whether it's playing the game I don't know... but at least there's always that glimmer of hope gifted.

Agree with that.....exactly the right tone...still wants to sort things out but won't be taken the piss out of! Can't see how anyone could knock that...although I'm sure someone will!

considering sisu's willingness to be more communicative (ref; Igwe), etc.,
i'm sure an honest & open response will be forthcoming,
after all, the great British judicial system will judge,
mmmmmmmmmmmmm

The thing is with their replies is they usually seem like they've been scribbled down on the back of a fag packet in a hurry.....even if they take days to reply! I've got to say often very amateurish.

I think Ann Lucas is being a bit sheepish. Maybe she is mutton dressed up as lamb.

Like that Otis,I see what you've done there !!
Sisu PR has always been awful, if they were more transparent and honest they could build trust although most would never believe anything coming from them now.
For a multi million pound company I can't believe how poor they are at it

I think there are a lot more than 4 or 5 people who have an issue with how the council have handled the situation over the last 18 months, myself included.

That said, I do agree with the OP. Considering all the shit that is going off around her, I think she has handled everything as well as she could have, and her tone is right. Far better than Mutton, so actually I don't think many will have an issue with the way Lucas has conducted herself.

Who are the 4-5? Some sort of hooligan firm who kick off in the second half of games?

I don't think much can be slated about those few lines. Imagine if Tim Fisher came out and said "today is Saturday". No doubt a few people would be up in arms about it. "No doubt joy as told him to say it" etc.

Some people just like reading things that aren't actually there.

Its worth remembering that Mutton was heavily lobbied at the time, although as said at the time he was a fool to iterate those feelings publicly.

I guess people follow the Banner of each party rather than the Individuals.
