Any idea how many season tickets we've sold? (or rather, how many have people tried to buy?)

Not as many as we would have if there was a DD option!

I get that there was/Is Insufficient time to outsource this as previously ,but someone managed to find £600K to inject as equity last season and

certain people In the hierarchy are Independently wealthy ,could they not run their own Scheme and cover Pro rata each ST purchased In such

a way ,obviously after six or eight payments they have it all back?

Between 4,000 & 5,000 so long way to go but getting there, hopefully.

Hmm, arbitrarily plucking a judgement out the air, I declare that good going, given the issues.

Come on! The club are doing their best to fashion those ST's from quarried stone with just the most basic chisels at their disposal.

Seeing as we're using paper season tickets why not run a direct debit scheme and send the tickets out every couple of months. If you haven't paid you don't get your next batch of tickets.

Don't see how that is legal tbh

Surely Direct Debit scheme set up now would only run until April possibly May, which based on my season ticket would be about £44 per month, which isn't far off buying the average of 2.3 x £18 adult matchday tickets for month for remainder of the season

Plenty of room so you can pretty much choose your own seat once you get in the ground.

Why not? What would not be legal about only sending tickets when they've been paid for?

They have to be a registered credit organisation to offer a scheme so would need a finance provider to under write the scheme. The finance provider would ensure a customer is liable for the whole payment - they cannot just default when they feel like it.

They wouldn't be offering credit though. There's 19 home games left I think. So you split them into 5 blocks and charge pro rata, at the ST rate or slightly higher to allow for the extra admin, taking payment by standing order, direct debit or card. Lets say you pay your first instalment today you get your first batch of 4 game tickets. After the next 4 home games another payment is taken and you get the next batch of 4 games.

At no point are you ever getting tickets for games you haven't already paid for so you're not getting credit. You're essentially buying tickets for the next 4 games at a time but it's all automated. if you don't pay you don't get the tickets. It's the same system they use for away season tickets, they keep your details on file and then automatically charge you and send you a ticket for every game.

They are going to do this at some point in the season are they not? Blocks of 5 game tickets paid upfront.

The club should be pursuing a subscription payment model for fans.

Something like:

- £5.99/mo for SBP, a scarf, a voucher to 1 game and the program delivered electronically
- £10/mo for all the above plus tickets to 5 games
- £20/mo for a basic ST, scarf, badge
- £30/mo for ST, SBP, Parking, scarf, badge
- £50/mo for ST, SBP, Parking, Free Away Travel, Badge, Scarf, Sky Blue Gnome

Or whatever. Minimum 12 month contract, maybe discounts for longer contracts. Lower the barrier to entry and get people locked in. Having a badge for the level you are subscribed to would add a bit of bragging rights as well.
