When I get the red letters, I'll just say "well, it worked for SISU, right? And they owe you and your ACL minions a damn sight more than I do!"

On a serious note, does this set a legal precedent?

Excellent idea - we'll start a campaign online - Free The Coventry One. Maybe some eccentric millionaire will come from China to pay your council tax for you, buy your house and give it to you.

That would because you could say that when you bought the ticket it was on the basis of a bounce back budget. However the circumstances have changed, no bounce back budget so you would now like the season ticket at a reduced rate of £100. Which is more reasonable for league one with no signings.

Like the rent was for the championship/premiership and not for league one.

Advice to CJparker - if the Council come after you legally sue the pants off them for discrimination!
