Either the 'Gresty Road End' stand, or 'Wulvern Housing' stand.

just phoned crewe up saying i live in northwich, asked if i would be able to pay on the gate due to my daughter having a "parents evening". they asked which school she goes to so i duely obliged and gave name and address of school she "goes" to and also name of road i live on. i asked if i could pay on the gate at the ricoh aswell due to working hours. they apologised and said due to amount of coventry city fans trying to buy tickets you cannot buy tickets at all without a supporters number and there is no pay on gate on the night :jerkit:

so you will need to buy a ticket for another crewe game - get a supporters number - and then a few days later buy the jpt ticket

NO WAY will you be allowed into the small GRESTY ROAD END stand, there would be a riot! its full of youth and the police and stewards won`t let anyone in there who`s an away fan!

There will be a lot more than 2400 Coventry fans in the stadium mate! Loads of Cov fan's will be in the home end.

But how will you know they are Cov fans?

If fans go in with no regalia on, how on earth will you be able to identify them?

I have no problem with away fans in home seats as long as they show a bit of decorum and don't go jumping up and down like a lunatic when their team scores.

If I was in the Crewe end I would sit there nice and quietly and cheer like mad from within.

Bottom line is, it's going to be impossible to spot them unless they start chanting or mouthing off.

Looks like Crewe have handled this very badly, just hope all the City who are in home end behave.
If they throw out a 1000 fans you will have issues on the streets and from what I understand that's a rough amount who have got tickets in home end so far.
Must admit, I am very tempted to do the same but would be with my wife so might get away with it.

its easy to identify any away fans in certain areas esp the GR end, its small and only full for big games, most of them are familiar with others and strangers would stick out a mile, its not safe for anyone and you won`t get in, sorry!

Don't see how Crewe have handled this badly. They are the home team and would want to have a home advantage.

Well that's different.

I'm pretty sure they'll get in. Whether or not they remain in is a different matter.

Won't be safe for who??? Believe me, if city don't get at least a 2 goal lead from the first leg, Crewe will be full of cov for 2nd leg.

I myself already have a ticket in your main stand along with 5 others.

People keep saying if they are in the home crowd and we score they will just have to celebrate from within. What happens if Crewe score, if you don't celebrate surely you will be found out?

BLAKES, you seem a decent enough fella and I hope you enjoy the atmosphere of the first leg, be sure to go into the Casino for a beer before the game....however, posting things to put people off going into the home section is a bit of a waste of time mate. You'd be better off saying keep quiet and enjoy the game. Those who really wanna go will go, it's not gonna sell out. Don't take it as an act of agression, it's just a big game and the chance of a trip to Wembley since the glory days of 1987!

Have safe trip down a week tuesday

I take it you've not sat in the middle of Block 20 at the Ricoh then!!

Also, thinking back, for a couple of seasons at HR I sat next to a guy who didn't as much blink all game. Sat down, never moved, never spoke, never cheered, never clapped.

We scored and he would just sit their motionless.

I nearly brought a stick with me one game so I could poke him and see if he was breathing. Luckily it was a cold day and I could see his breath and he was definitely alive.
