Weird, wonder if that is deliberate or just poor implementation. I can't see the benefit from blocking someone who has paid for the stream being able to watch it on whatever device they want.

It wasn't iFollow. It was Samsung - they don't let their tvs stream from apple products only Samsung.

I use chromecast through the chrome browser. Works pretty well, you can expand the screen so that it displays on the tv in full.

It works via HDMI cable. Watched it on my 50" TV.

Yes there is always the cable option for the Fred Flinstones among us.

That's weird. It sounds as if your cable is not connected properly. You have an Apple TV right, so I would have thought the cable option should work.

What subscription are people paying to watch the games? Do you purchase the overseas?

I just pay for individual games, I'm in and out of the country at the mo, ST holder and do about 8 away games a season. So paying full whack doesn't justify it for me.

I've got a Mac mini connected via HDMI, desktop displays on TV but when I go to watch a match I get the video window as a black square, rest of the desktop still displays and sound comes through. Anything else played through it is fine.

Same with MacBook Air to Apple TV via airplay. Desktop displays but video window is black with only audio playing.

I used a MBA 11" to my Samsung TV using a DVI to HDMI cable with no issues, had sound and everything, just set it up as a second monitor and dragged the tab onto there.

Yep, all browsers do the same. Their support claimed it was a bandwidth issue despite it working fine on the laptop and me having a fibre connection.

They must have it blocked somehow, even if its accidental.

Sounds like when you hit full screen for whatever reason it's not recognising your TV as the main display.

Have you extended your screen instead of duplicated it? Try duplicating it see if that helps.

Both do the same. I can get the display on the TV fine, and anything else such as NHL Network is fine.

Got a display port to HDMI at my folks place, gets round the restrictions Sky and BT Sport put in place so that will probably work.

Ah right. I'm on holiday at the mo but apparently my 'season pass' expired last week, and as I'm overseas the only option I'm seeing is the full whack season pass at over a hundred. Think I'll just miss a few games and renew when I'm back in the UK

It's in the match centre. So log in, go to fixtures, pick the game, then it gives you an option to watch live.

Nice one. Assume you only get that option when you're out the country (or appear to be so). Does it accept UK bank card and billing details?

I'm possibly going to start travelling a bit this year so may be useful.

It accepts UK bank cards and you need the VPN on before logging into your account. You can add bank details in your account section so you don't need to fill in the billing information every time.

I've tried a million times to get this thing working straight from the firestick (I.e without beaming it) but to no avail.

I've tried:
- installing the ifollow android app on the firestick. Done this successfully but can't click any buttons or anything as designed for touch screen phone
- installing chrome apk on television firestick. Same problem as above
- installing vlc on the firestick and using this to stream the video feed. Couldn't work out how to get the direct url for the videos...Couldn't find it in the source code of the site.

Sigh...Anyone else had any luck? Might have to just hdmi it until they bring out a firestick app

Does the overseas billing address not have to be linked to the card?

Sorted it, saved card details first then bought and it worked fine.
