If we ever got to a play off final, excluding the size of the stadium, how many seats do you think cov fans would fill ?

I think it would be more of a question of how many seats would we be allocated

If the club ever got into a play off final they have to ensure purchase of a season ticket for the next season is the first priority allocation.

Any remaining tickets then go into a lottery - everyone else applies and those drawn out get a ticket.

If allowed 40-50 k we would sell them
But due to the corporate people
We would get 20-30k
And there would be a load of empty seats in the corporate section

why would you need a lottery if everyone could get a ticket, how many do you think we could fill ?

I think we'd get rid of 30K easily.

There were 55000+ City fans at the Charity Shield match against Everton in an 80000 odd crowd. As far as I know this is a record we hold in this country for the most away fans.

They should do ST Holders first and then fans who have a certain amount of ticket stubs.

First pick should always be current season ticket holders.

We would get 37,249 or 37,332 depending which end we were given. Add in club wembley and corporate seats and that's capacity.

Of course if we were playing someone who didn't want that many tickets we might get a bigger allocation.

And some of those should be from the start of the season not from when we are doing well.
I think we could easily sell 40,000

Only Cov fans could have a debate ,about the fairest way to distribute play-off tickets ,
i honestly can't think of ANY team that this applies to less.

I think only those who have been to every game and priotitise going over everything else in life should get a ticket. Particularly if you are a "lad" and go on an "all dayer"

Seriously I wouldn't worry about it, not been an issue for nearly 30 years

Love this topic, 46 years we don't make the top 6 of any league yet we debate what it would be like if we actually made that, and then didn't bottle it over the first two games.

That aside, we will make the top 6 next year and we will fill Wembley

We would get more than that, closer to 40k, and depending on who we played more if they dont sell theirs

I don't keep my stubs and go to about 5 games a season. I'd be begging on here for one!

If you buy them in advance they'll have a record of it. Not that you really need to be worrying just yet!

Play off final, we would easily sell our half of Wembley. I heard against Crewe in the JPT there was enough demand for 45k at least. Rumour though. We all know the fanbase is there and when a game like that crops up, all the city fans come out of the woodwork and take their Man Utd tops off for the weekend.

Best thing to get an idea, would check what saints, bristol city etc got allocated.

To answer the OP, taking Wembley's 90,000 capacity, I'd say we could easily sell 60,000 IMO, if not more.
