I would not, investing in football is not profitable, I would follow Alan Sugar's advice and stay clear of football clubs.

True, your pot would diminish pretty quickly...having said that, it would be bloody tempting!

I'd have a bash , after looking after family and friends of course. Would keep a few million back for emergencies. Who needs 107 million anyway.

107m

I think that I could live quite happily with 30m and 50 m to family and friends

I would offer 15m to seppala 6m ACL 6m Council - a take it or leave it deal for the club and ground
If they said no - I would have a team that would pass them in the pyramid in around 7 seasons

yes(probably not)

buy the ricoh,if not sell go back on free rent for 5-10 years whilst getting planning for ground inside cov
put prices down to tenner
give out flags
encourage fans to become ultras like in italy
back pressley to the hilt

after 10 years if cant get planning permission, sell or kill the club because of council.

I'd have to give the club a large chunk and hope they'd use it properly. And I'd give Rooney a call and say," you're not the only lucky bastard around are you Wayne !"

Would try and buy ACL for 20 million.

Would try and buy the club for 20 million all additional debts left with SISU.

I would keep

Murphy
Burge
Clarke
Webster
Willis
Wilson
Haynes
Phillips
Thomas
Fleck
Barton
Adams
Moussa
Marshall

I would sign another 6 free transfers
The squad would then be supplemented with the academy players and loanees

I would Amin for a squad of 18 permanent
4 loanees
4 kids

I would be straight with the fans players will be sold if the situation completely suits the club.

The Clark scenario for example would not have suited

He would not have been sold. His choice then would be finish the season as the league one top scorer then a guarantee that if our valuation is met he will be sold.

Or keep refusing to play and see what move he gets in the summer.

There would be a huge community initiative.

A chosen fans group would be brought closely into to the club.

All decisions hard and easy will be fully and frankly explained.

Attempts would be made to turn Saturday at the Ricoh into a full family day

With events all morning in the build up.

Seperately for those not with their kids events at the Casino and the new weather spoons will have a club input.

Top players will be sold once a suitable cheaper alternative is found.

Then I would wake up and have my coffee

I'd spend at least £106.99m on wine and women then probably waste the rest!

If I win the full ammount tonight yes I would, if the jackpot was shared then no I wouldn't.

I certainly won't be going to sisu with a cheesy grin saying I've just won the lottery and want to buy the club though, I'd take advice on what club is worth without the sius/arvo debts and then make an offer above that, say sisu I've got 7 mill here for you take it or leave it and you'll have to wipe off your debts and then I'd be patient, ready to pick up the pieces when they go.

I certainly wouldn't consider it an investment though, it would be money I was willing to lose to fix my football club. I'd make sure we have 20k+ fans next year back in the Ricoh too and have a good go at promotion, I will be willing to throw money at growing the fan base, obtaining the stadium etc, but would be sensible in transfer dealings.

I'd buy ACL, offer Seppala a nominal £1 for the club, along with paying 50% of the sisu debt, another 25% upon promotion to the premiership.

If these terms wasn't acceptable to her I would tell her to forget it and go and start my own club playing in Coventry.

I would also publically state what I really think of Sisu, and publically accuse them of something libellous. They would threaten to sue me of course, but I would get the best lawyers money could buy and batter the bitch in court. If they won the case it would still be worth while (shit sticks).

No No No and No again however I would be happy to invest in a local team like sphinx etc and get them through the leagues, its a lot less risky and I would not have to shell out as much.

my thoughts are that you cant trust anyone today.id not want the hassle of running the club ,not got the health and time for that ,so would have to rely on others.the one thing ive learnt in life , more so being a city fan ,is you just cant trust anyone or anything anymore ,.id love to, if put in the position to ,give a lumpsum to who ever and get rid of all involved with the club and the ricoh ,but I believe the money would just get robbed.reading the thread on best memories has resurfaced my feelings that the club I love was lost with highfield road, and the best we will ever get is our memories ,

No, the wife would put her foot down and tell me not to waste money on that "shit".

Not only would it take money to buy ACL and the club off sisu, you'd need to inject equity, transfer fees and likely fund losses for at least a couple of seasons.

If I won tonight and I was the sole jackpot winner, I'd offer to cover the entire costs of returning to the Ricoh (rent and matchday) for the next three years and reimburse Sisu the pie money that ACL make. Sisu could then build the new stadium without the need for us to wither on the vine at Sixfields and before we lose any more youth support.

Or find out how much it would cost to bring the rugby club stadium up to league standards so we could play there next season and not Sixfields.

We need to be back in Coventry.

Not in it's current state. I'd be interested in investing in the Ricoh, and/or ACL, and also the option of funding a restarted club, but would only look at the club without debt, or after it went under.

My wife turned to me in bed this morning and said I'm so snuggly I don't want to get up, nore me I said, I was just dreaming I'd won the Euromillions and brought the football club, she sat bolt upright, you'd have to win a bloody lot of money before you're allowed to do that. I said I won't buy the football club unless it leaves us with over 50million in our account, she was happy with that.

which means in 'woman speak' she would wait until you bought the club and then divorce you for unreasonable behaviour - sueing you for every penny you have left and more -still i suppose you would have the club!!!!

Nope. Not a chance. I like being a fan, as soon as you have a financial interest in something then that's when you can no longer act and be like a fan.

Also, I'm not quite sure I like the idea of ploughing all my money into something, just to be called a c**t in the street by one of you lot for not extending Freddy Eastwood's £10k a week contract.

I would buy the club, and the Ricoh.

I would form a new board of directors that would include:

OSB58 - I would need financial help, that's for sure.
Grendel - No doubting his love for the sky blues, and would be in charge of ACL, targetted with maximising profit from the Ricoh... (Although may have to have a lesser, smaller board too that he can run to when the main board members don't agree with him...)
NW - we would need a level head on the board - (he can also help moderate the smaller board) (He would probably only accept the role on the understanding that he can post that I'm not the right person to own CCFC, so he can tell everyone years later "I told you so"
Otis - He's bound to be a workaholic, if only to get away from his wife more often..
_brian_ - to get the average age of the board higher...
Dong - I don't think Grendel would accept the job unless Dong was on the board too...

Other board members required too. Lets see your CV's !!
