If you were the board in this situation what would you do?

I would personally stump up the money to get a very good manager which could get us out of this league.

If they have the money.

I am guessing not and guessing it will be Shaw and Carsley and they will be given half a dozen games. Things don't improve then they will bring someone in. Do well and they could be given until the end of the season.

May be wrong of course and they have someone already lined up.

I think they'll be in charge for Brum, maybe Crewe and Burton, but I think because it's so early we're going to try get someone in before the window is closed so the new 'gaff' has a chance to bring in 1-2 players of his own.

Remember, AT and Harrison were given the caretaker role 'til the end of the season because the season was nearly over, they did well, hence why we kept him and other teams were interested in his services.

If they wont stump up the money for good players there is no chance of them stumping it up for manager

To be honest I might be wrong but I think since Waggot and Fisher have been in post we normally look to have replacements lined up before offloading. I actually think we may have something lined up.
