This is going back quite a bit so I don't expect anyone less that 60 years old to appreciate this.
Billy Bunter was the subject of some 1950's books by an author called Frank Richards.
The books were later adapted to a 1960's (black and white) TV series.
I just came across four old episodes on Youtube.
It's old, crackly, jumpy, primitive, and non-pc but absolutely hilarious.
