And it's just a case of waiting for the maths to confirm our demise, will you stop going up the Ricoh for the rest of this season?

Think the heart will have gone out of me to be honest.

Only thing I think that would keep me going would be if they decided to blood kids in readiness for next season and then I would like to see what the future held.

What does everyone else reckon? Still attend, or give up and try and come back with renwed hope next season?

I would keep attending. Can't understand those who would give up when things are tough only to return when things are better.

We all want to win matches and be successful but wouldn't dream of giving in because things are rubbish at the moment.

Well i have a season ticket. but with nothing to play for and the heart gone from the team and the squad, I do think I would give up til next year. Had enough pain for one season already.

I would still go, we have more fun in the casino to be fair!

Torch i feel that in the currant financial climate people have to look on how they spend there money, and if they are not enjoying something they are doing then they will look to cut out things like this.
Its not about deserting the team until the better days return, but money is tight at the moment and it looks it will continue for at least another year.
Why do activities you don't enjoy, do something different you never know.
It costs a lot of money to watch Cov these days, and if it makes you miserable and you don't enjoy doing it , then its best to stop before you spend more money on it.

I pick and choose my games and on that basis I am choosing not to go anymore this season. I will be back next season regardless of the division and again I will pick and choose.

Enjoy match days regardless of the result anyway. Good to get together with mates. Would prefer if we won more than we lost tho!

I take the point Otis and it's a good one . fact remains if money is tight or there are some options about where to go like the wife needs you to go shopping then you may decide to stay away. Some will stay away and give up and others will be gluttons for punishment (like me) It won't make much difference. I do agree that if we get the likes of Bigi and co in and not Bell, Macca, platt etc then I too would be interested in going up to see....

I'm not a season ticket holder but i'll go to the last home game of the season with some of my family who are season ticket holders .

But accepting relegation im hoping MK Dons don't get promoted I fancy that away and that Huddersfield don't get promoted - I like there ground

Looking forward to Notts county away / Walsall away - should take a few there

Bournemouth - hopefully in a decent weather month

Nothing to play for?! Survival! I feel the team needs my support more than ever. I also have an ST and will have one until the day I croak.

But I am talking about when there is nothing to play for, not while there is still a chance.

Otis gentle on him he aint that swift...

Quite a few I know go to games for the piss up and a day out-- the football is a side issue. No reason they would stop going.
I personally wouldnt want to witness a slow inevitable death, unless like you say its the kids getting ready for next season or like.

Everyone is obviously entitled to choose when they go or don't go, I just wish that fans would turn up regardless of how good the football was or wasn't - if we are in the prem or conference
Through the good times and the bad together.
If we were in the prem then we would be looking at another 10k fans each week.
If we go down to league 1, we will find it harder to get promotion with say 8k fans rather than say 25k
So what I'm getting at is my view is that the more we stay together the better our chances. IMO

Through thick and thin. I nearly cried when that winner went in, i've been in a foul mood all night, but nothing's gonna stop me going to the ricoh and backing the boys in sky blue.

If and at the moment it looks a big if we are winning and at the right end of the division people will go, winning teams attracts fans, always has. And if and it's an even bigger if we were top of the league gates would rise significantly, thats football fans

What I don't get is why people still think we will survive!

Sounds a crazy notion.

Only need to look at the facts.

1. Only team in England who has failed to win away.

2. 21 points lost from winning positions.

3. 7 points adrift at the bottom of the table.

4. Just 5 wins in 29 games.

5. A novice manager at the helm.

6. Just 30 goals scored in 29 games. Just about 1 goal per game.

Can someone please tell me how anyone can find any hope out of that?

Hope isn't about facts, its about emotion. Supporting your team is always about emotion, not reality. We hope for a miracle, even though reality, as you so correctly put it, says we haven't got a chance
