Murphy/Dunn

Clarke(Christie), Keogh Wood (Cameron, McPake), Hussey (Cranie)

Deegan (Clingan)

Baker (Bell, Christie) Norwood (Thomas, Bigi) New signing (Sheff, Hussey)

Platt (new signing) Nimely (McDonald)

I think if we can convince Mancini and Fergie that their boys need a full season to get ready. Also if we sign another 2 loanees a left sided player and another battering ram like platt.

Then this is a side that can achieve. With other youngsters then comining in and out as oppose to depending on them.

My fear is SISU will have a another fire sale and will not allow it.

But if they Just give us 4 loan signings and keep what we have then we may do something.

The big issue would be injuries. We would need to have a very lucky season injury wise. As a couple of long term injuries to the senior pros and we would end up drafting in youngsters before they are ready again.

On the flip side the likes of Bigi, Thomas and Chrisitie would now be capable of playing a bit more consitently because of the enforced over use of them this season.

Very unlikely but it would also be good if we could convince villa that Gardner would benefit from a season loan aswell. Unfortunatley they would need to sign about 3 midfield players this summer for that to happen.

This is more likely to be where we start in the summer:

Murphy (Dunn
Clarke (Christie) Keogh (Cameron) Wood (McPake) Hussey (new signing/HH)
Thomas (????)
Deegan (Bigi) Baker (Bell)
McSheffrey (????)
Platt (new signing) McDonald (ROD)

Perhaps pursade Norwood to come and play in one of the midfield slots, the other will probably be Ruffles or another kid. Good chance the signing up front will be Platt and Clarke-Harris or Daniels will be pushed into the first team squad.

That would compete in league one. But it would be another relegation fight in the championship

Have to disagree. The younger players now have experience. They are now playing much better than the start of the season. We are now doing much better. Why would we go backwards and start again like this season?
