Now I know at the moment the chances seem very slim and it may never happen... I don't know but

If we were to return to the Ricoh, what do you all think the attendance will be like?

Now I know the last season we were there average attendance was between 8,000-11,000, correct?

I didn't attend too much last year but if we were to return, I would snap up a season ticket in a heartbeat and I really took it for granted when we were at the Ricoh, something I will not do again...

What are all your thoughts on numbers?

Thanks

8-11 K is a range not an average

But IMO, I'd say an average of 10-12k, as last we year we probably averaged 9K.

Depends on the circumstances, time away, feeling towards Sisu, performance on the pitch. Could be anything from less than 11k because people have lost interest/hate Sisu to more because people miss it/love Sisu/we're doing well.

I'd guess 15k if we were looking like promotion for most of the season.

Didn't go to as many home games as I should have. Will definitely go to more when we get back to Cov, if only to help kickstart back the team in a positive direction. Doesn't have to be the Ricoh for me, though it seems bloody silly if not? Oh, yeah... attendance average at Ricoh 12,987 ...more if we're near top 6

Interesting question. Under the ownership of SISU then I would guess that there would be minimal increase in crowds. However, if a new owner with an exciting blueprint for the future, promised investment into the current playing squad and ownership of the Ricoh then that would be a different story.

Yeah it's difficult cause I didn't know how many had the same opinion as me. As much as I really hate what's going on and how sisu have ruined our club, I would see watching cov as a higher priority than not going out of spite. I was thinking around the 14k as a first season return... And that may change depending on how well we do. Thank for you response though..

I am not sure City would average 9,000 home fans not after Sisu's latest move of disapproval.

I'd just love a promotion season.

All these figures being quoted are wildly optimistic and don't bare any resemblance to the reality.

What new owners? You're having a laugh.

If we return to the Ricoh, I think I'll probably give it a miss for good. Never ever been home or ever felt like it, due to those who own and run the stadium and their 'puppets'.

HELP!

RFC I don't usually pick out your posts but I don't understand this one, it's almost as if you state that playing in Northampton is better? I am not a fan of the Ricoh, it's not Highfield Road and I agree to an extent it's never felt like home, but even so I can't think of anywhere else I'd prefer watching Coventry City playing their home fixtures than the Ricoh at this moment.

I won't bite mate I know everyone has an opinion and that's fair enough, but it almost sounds like that RFC doesn't want a Coventry City in the the City of Coventry.. Something I fail to understand.

In response to RFC's comment, I'd say 9-15k figures are not randomly, exaggerated figures IMO, more accurate than 20k average

Correct I'm not happy about the journey or playing in Northampton. Just back in or around Coventry for me, sooner the better.

So all that crap about supporting the lads was just you creating a foil for your love of all things SISU. You are not a true Sky Blue, just an alien like Fisher and the rest of the SISU clowns

Are you trying to emulate Timothy?

He was the one that was wildly optimistic on how many of us would go to Northampton. Will let you into a little secret. Most of us will be back once our club is. We can't choose who our clubs owners are but we can choose what is right and wrong.

New owners? It is what we all want. Someone who cares about our club. Someone who would care about their customers. They could have done the JR whilst playing at the Ricoh as they say they are going to see if the funding was right or wrong. The funding would still be right or wrong if we were playing there. Joy says she won't sell whilst we are at the bottom. We could have SISU for a long time then.

I hope you don't go when we come home. We don't need people like you that helps to split the fans with bullshit. I bet you will miss 'the great atmosphere' when we leave Northampton.

Help? Very easy. Just stop trolling.

Now you have really confused me. I thought your stance was support the boys wherever they are. Hence traveling to Northampton despite not agreeing with the move.
Yet if 'our boys' return to Coventry your support for them will be dependant on location
