I'm sorry to put it out there but I don't think SBT is totally representative of the City support. There is a lot of ' understanding' on here for our owners, something I don't seem to hear much from many supporters elsewhere. If we played at Northampton again or Burton, 'Home gates' would dwindle to 2500/3000 again including away fans, a lot less for night matches and winter games. I doubt we would get a lot from the F & B either so income really would be diminished. With that players will be sold , contracts not renewed, more kids promoted to first team duties etc. Not sure if Robins would stay either or how we would attract decent players. The club would meander in a downward spiral whilst those shits SISU still pretended to be looking at sites to build but in reality all the time 'not crystalizing' their losses on original investment. Wasps could take years to be dislodged if ever from the Ricoh and even then how could CCFC acquire it anyway.
Fans are being stitched up here all round !!

Don't think there are many 'understanding' of SISU to be fair, it's more a case of having eyes open to the other parties shortcomings. SISU are, indeed, c***s. But the other guests at this party smell of fish too. I would venture that SBT is made up of some quite bright people who understand the logistics. The (mostly!) mature discussions here sees all sides of the argument. Non members here that don't participate in unbiast research for themselves have to rely on trash talk at the game, on the loudest voice in the boozer, the trolls on the rest of the web, or being spoon fed the facts from the highly respected Telegraph. I've actually given up hope of my dad talking sense when we chat on the phone - "I've just seen in the Telegraph...."

Agree with the rest of your thoughs though, particularly if we move a long way away - the novelty will wear off unless we storm the league. With the TV money going up and they receive a large payment if the do get relegated anyway, can't see how wasps are going to implode either. If a bond comes up, date say it will be restructured somehow to spread the cost.

Interesting poll this, when I speak other cov fans at the ricoh, in the pub or at work. I am yet to hear from anyone who will go to home games if we move out of cov. On the Internet other than on here (Facebook groups) the majority seem to be against going to a ground not in Coventry.
Yet on here a majority in this vote will attend some games.
Maybe it's a silent majority out there and those fans are not as vocal. Or the majority on this site are of a different mindset.
Very surprising results in this Poll for me.
Personally I can't see there been more than 3000k including away support for a second move away.

Of course you speak to them at the Ricoh.

Another one being too obvious.

There is a group of 8 ST holders (myself included) that would more than likely not renew next season if we are not at the Ricoh.

We would however attend the odd game depending on distance and convenience. Not once did any of us go to Northampton, however this time it is a very different kettle of fish.

My biggest fear is that if we do move out of the city, attendances will plummet, Robins will have less/no money and will walk. Undoing all of the great work he has accomplished until now.

So it is just people guessing.

The same as accounts wouldn't be filed, EFL wouldn't allow a groundshare and the EFL will take the golden share etc etc.

All the people I have asked, only one said he would go. And that was if it was Rugby or Nuneaton.

I am presuming that if we move we will be playing to sparse crowds leading to a reduced budget and consequently good players leaving and more difficult to attract quality players due to these factors. robbins may stay but it becomes easier to tempt him away if there is no forecast return to Coventry. will now put on tin helmet as the pro Sisu lobby will tell me that it wasn't the Sixfields experience +

Didn’t Pressley say that playing at Sixfields made it harder to attract players?

I remember Reda saying he only signed with a grantee that we'd be returning to the Ricoh.

Pressley did have his best season at Sixfields though.

But we’re being forced out.... this has been the Wasps agenda since Day 1. The fact they ever entertained a ground-share with us is because they’ve fucked it all up at their end. If they had done what they planned (Prem winners, European Cup winners) we’d already have gone.

I am no wasps apologists, they are scum and I would never go on and watch them.

But there is a choice, Sisu do have a choice. They can either continue with the legal battle or stay at the Ricoh and they have made their choice. They are chasing their own agenda as usual rather than doing what is best for the club.

Every party is chasing their own agenda and has been since the day we left HR - that’s why we’re in this mess. We need to back the club - not the owners but the thing that brings us all together.

What's best for the club is to meekly surrender to Wasps, that's basically what you're saying.

How about Sisu come out and say we want to negotiate a long term and permanent deal at the Ricoh for say the next 60 years on terms which will allow the football club to progress. And on successful completion of said deal Sisu agree to drop the legal action, then if wasps fail to deliver or won’t play still then it gives them more ammo to fire at wasps and council.

Instead we get threats to leave and a pie in the sky stadium plan

They did say that... and everyone ignored it and made more excuses for the council.
