If we did make the prem I'd love to see Robins welcomed as a guest to see his previous work come to fruition. We can argue all day about whether we would have made it this season if he stayed, but without him we would be nowhere near the league let alone the playoffs. (Getting ahead of myself granted) I just think it would be a really nice touch.

I understand your sentiment but it's in this territory...

I'd hope he wouldn't take it that way

Robins has a job to do at Stoke, he’s moved on and so should we.

As the years pass by, it would be nice to see him be welcomed as a guest of honour but it’s still a bit fresh for all parties.

I very much doubt he'd want to attend

Cant see it. He’s focused on Stoke and we are focused on us. Would love to see him thanked probably but imagine it’ll have to wait for now

Only if endless replays of him celebrating in the ball boys face v wolves are shown on the big screen.

Superb that was.

I think a club statement thanking his role in it would be enough.

Lampard would undoubtedly make reference to Robins anyway if it happens

Exactly this. See him on legends day if his diary allows. If not, move on.
