Was about to say the samewhat a stupid question it’s obviously Tim Fisher
George Thomas. That goal started it all!if we get over the line and complete our rise from league 2 to the premier league, who is most responsible? Robins is the obvious one, Lampard for finally getting us over the line? Dean Austin and Chris Badlan for their amazing recruitment over the years? Doug?
This.
Would be like robins dribbling past 2 very tough defenders (league 1 and 2)with a trick to boot(checkatrade) and then crossing for lampard who has to hit the perfect shot to beat the hardest goalkeeper in the world(the championship)

Get with the future, its not going anywhereDidn't need the AI hellscape.
Lifetime season ticket from DougWouldn't underestimate Dave Boddy's role in the rise too. Worked very well in tandem with Robins and also brought the fans and clubs much closer together after some torrid years. Sure he'll be there to enjoy it if and when we go up.
Without Doyle there’s no McNulty.Marc McNulty.... the domino effect of him is massively understated.
Without McNulty theres no Chaplin, without Chaplin there is no Godden... Without Godden we don't win league one - We then don't get Hamer and Gyokeres... both of which led to the squad we have today.
Amen brother
Without Slade, theres no RobinsWithout Doyle there’s no McNulty.
(Without Robins there’s no Doyle?)
I agree, King is vitally important. He didn't have to take the club and if he didn't who knows? Back to League 1 eventually most likely. These threads are a bit silly as there’s no direct answer other than the fact is without King we wouldn’t be where we are now whoever was manager as we were out of money and preparing a fire sale of assets
Build the statue!Without Slade, theres no Robins
Back to the first point… without Tim Fisher there isn’t a Mark RobinsWithout Doyle there’s no McNulty.
