Who would you prefer?

Willis Or Enobakhare

Who would be the most vital for our chances next season?

Willis. Replace bright with Bayliss and put Shipley into the centre

Enobakhare has without doubt lifted our team up the table, the guy is different class. Opposing managers and fans, almost every game since he joined, have said he ran the show. Jordan Willis is a rock. I want Bayliss to develop, same as Shipley who was also very good on Saturday. If the options were Thomas or Enobakhare I’d be able to happily answer in a heartbeat and without any doubt.

I guess what I’m trying to say to the original question is I don’t know. Lol.

Would love both to sign up, but Enobakhare edges it for me, as he's a game-changer, respect to Willis though, as he's stuck with City through thick n' thin.

How can people say Willis? Although a very good CB at this level, he’s not irreplaceable. I feel like if we were to get into the championship in the next couple of seasons, Bright would be much more capable at that level than Willis. It’s not often you get the chance at L1 level to sign players like Bright on a free!

Yeah-Bright for me too. Willis is a decent player but there is always another central defender around the corner. Not sure players like Bright come along that often and is a game changer.

Both will probably be going to the Championship next season along with every other decent player we have that is not under contract.

Willis. I like Bright a lot but feel like there are more tricky, incosistent but brilliant on his day attackers than pacy defenders at this level.

Also, what the hell are they teaching them at Wolves, him and the duck.

Thought about making a similar poll earlier, only with the options being Stockdale or Bright. Don’t think either will happen by the way.

As for this one, I’d say Willis. Allows us to play a higher line with his pace which gets us further up the pitch.

I’d sign Bright, we have a lot of decent young CB’s at the Club and I’m sure we could live without JW.

Bright without a shadow of a doubt. Players with Brights ability are gold dust at this level

You seem pretty confident of promotion despite the odds being against us.

Bright. As block16 says, Willis is replaceable.

Although Bright has come in and had some great performances, he’s also had his poor one, and a lot of frustrating moments.

No doubt he has talent but as mentioned about, is at times similar to Duck.

We are fortunate to have three very good CB’s at the club at the minute and one of them are likely to leave in the Summer; I’m just hoping we don’t lose both willis and Davies at the same time.....

Another long winded way of saying ‘I don’t know, guv’

as much as i love willis i would pick bright

you can get competent cbs in league 1,hell we have 3

but creative players are few and far between. bright is 10x player bayliss currently is that shows you how good he is

Pretty much thinking the same a lot of similarities to Nazon.

If your looking at it from a position of if you take Bright and he clicks and replicates performances week in week out then you’ve a player who will have a lot of interest in 12/18 months and a good value to hopefully recycle into the squad and could take us on a amazing journey fitting into MR system well.

Willis you know what your getting and holds a different value to the club/side and unlikely tho hold much transfer market value if he extends his contract this summer but solves any headaches for the next few seasons potentially to build a stable defensive unit with the names coming or staying or emerging however this summer pans out.

I do like that Bright is able to play in a number of positions too. He is dangerous when given a free role too

Wages man wages! He will probably see out any contract and take it from there.
We can’t match what the reserve U23 Championship or Premiership players want unless they have their mind set on proving what they can do.

With a year option in favour of the club on Tom Davies, this tips it to Bright for me. Bright’s impact on the club has been massive and with a full season with us, probably could propel us even further. I hope his ‘I feel at home’ comments means he’s seriously considering sticking around past this season.

As for Willis, I have a feeling he’ll re-sign with us. But, if it’s a choice, I think he’s more replaceable than Bright.

Bright is the type of player (few and far between) who can get you out your seat one minute and tearing your hair out next. That is hard to replace; he will do the unexpected and create himself a yard of space. I like sterling, Thomas and Willis and all/any of them would be great to keep but I think in Davis (and Thompson and Williams coming through) we have reasonable cover for Willis. Sterling we have grimmer...not a bad cover (and Williams and Thompson again); this is a little weaker bit still not disastrous. Thomas’ speed will be sorely missed but Wakefield was bought for that position and Jodi will be back sometime.
It is Bright I think we will miss most if we don’t manage to secure him. He wrong foots defenders and has an eye for goal.
