My favourite part about that is how easily he could've got to the ball after his mistake! Haha

The mistake looks worse the more times you look at it.

Hint of match fixing? He could definitely have reached that

What irritates me the most is the player nearest to the ball sort of celebrating like its his goal! Ha

Never understand that. Seen it some many times. Awful mix up or back pass that gives a goal away with absolutely no input from the opposition, yet strikers celebrate like they've just dribbled past 6 players and dinked the ball into the net.

In the same way we as fans celebrate even though we've nothing to do with the goal

The point being nothing to do with anyone celebrating the goal but the way the player tries to 'claim' it and his teammates appear to think he's scored it just made me go wtf.

Golden rule of football... Keep your eye on the ball.

I feel sorry for the defender who now has an own goal on his record.

Probably dropped after that and told not to hit it back to the keeper with such venom next time.

In the same way Messi has a missed penalty next to his name from the other week when he passed it to Suarez!

Pele's another like that. Think of the most famous clips of him in 1970 - the Gordon Banks save, selling the keeper an outrageous dummy, shooting from the halfway line - didn't score a single one of them. Chancer!

Indeed and people rave about Oggy and that goal he scored against Sheff Weds, but when you look at his stats it is 1 goal in 611 appearances, which is not very good at all.

That equates to a goal ratio of ...... errm ..... 1 in every 611.

Legend, my arse!

Perhaps we should include him in the "worst strikers " thread

Video not working for me. BBC restrictions again no doubt. Idiots.
