Would the attendance be much higher?

So many people moan about the prices, but I reckon whatever the price we would struggle to get higher than 15,000 for a home game these days.

At 5 pound i think we would get around 14-16000 every home game including away supporters

I very much doubt it.

Not for a losing team that is failing to entertain. Big games, yes, but not week in week out.

At the rate we're going Fisher might be right 3000 with 7000 if we're doing well the man has definately got his finger on the pulse:facepalm:With season ticket holders walking out at half time and saying they are not coming back, people not being able to give their tickets away what does it matter what the price is? The product is crap the clubs attitude is crap the outlook is crap the players are crap the management is crap appart from all that I'm quite optermistic.

I'd also add the fans are crap to that list too. And I include myself in that. But enough is enough.

Unfortunately our owners do not appear to care so why should our fans ?

The gate money is supposed to pay for the team, because our owners took us to the cobblers last season
we are now seeing the outcome of no money to invest in the team. Sisu made a huge mistake buying CCFC,
and they made another huge mistake going to the Cobblers.

Add those two huge mistakes to the massive mistake of not paying a fair price for the Ricoh and you have
our problems in a nutshell.

(repeat) If the owners can't be bothered why should the fans.

ah, the old "price" debate again.

you only have to read the predictions thread about yesterday, everyone knew we had lost before even turning up, whatever the price was

Well, that is true.

CWR always have an opposition commentator on pre game and they always give their prediction. The prediction is sometimes for a win, usually though very close, or for a draw.

Yesterday it was Louis Carey, former Bristol and Sky Blues defender. He confidently predicted 3-0 to Bristol.

I can't remember the last time any such commentator ever predicted such a big win and so confidently. As I say, it's nearly always a very close prediction given.

I had a season ticket when last at the Ricoh ... for the entire time up of being there .. until we moved to Sixfields ... but even at £5 for next week ... I wouldn't waste my time ... just not worth losing the hours in the afternoon ... we will lose ... no debate about that anymore, we are more than living up to the form table and there is just no entertainment value ...

to much damage has been done by the owners and the council I think the fan base has been damaged more than people realise, price of tickets means nothing now

There is something in that for sure. Wouldn't be surprised if hardly anyone were interested even if they were offered free tickets.

people have found things to do with their time now football used to be number one on my list for a Saturdaynot any more rather spend time doing things I enjoy with my kids instead of watching the usual crap called CCFC. SISU did a fuck you to the fans with the move to Northampton and now the council have done the same with the sale to the wasps so until we have new owners and a deal that keeps us at home for ever I am not interested in investing my time or money in a team that might not be here and moved away in the next 2=4 years! just because SISU were screwed and came back for our money does not mean im going to give them mine.
