I take it there will be no complaints about any sales in January?

just playing devils advoctae KG. If Thorn is not culpable at all because he has nothing to work with player wise then surely people won't care if any are sold

My take on it, for what it's worth - some of the players aren't good enough but we are in a position that means, because of lack of incoming players, we have to play these players. Add to that we have players that are inexperienced and an inexperienced manager and we have a fragile outfit. I also think that a lot of our players ARE good enough but are hiding in games (such as last night) instead of putting in the effort to help the team. The biggest factor though, for me, is the massive lack of confidence flowing through that team. Unfortunately (and I know football players say it doesn't effect them), I'm pretty certain the off-field troubles are causing some of these things.

Depends who we sell and for how much. Saying the squad isnt good enough is not the same as saying every player could leave with no fuss. That said theres probably only juke, sammy and keogh who would get into most championship teams so we should be looking to hold on to them and if we're to have any hope for the future we need to hold onto the kids. To be honest I can't see a problem with the likes of sheff, platt, bell, mcpake etc going so long as suitable replacements come in - we certainly can't afford the squad to be any smaller.

Macca Kg very pointless sarcastic post if you ask me, why not sell the whole team.
If this is a dig at AT then thats your porogative but if you have a major gripe answer these questions.
1) Can Sisu afford to pay him off and replace him ?
2) Who would we get as a replacement would they want to come to Cov knowing that they can't sign a single player and more players will be sold in january and not replaced ?

As I see it the only option Sisu would have if they sacked AT would be a caretaker manager from within the club and they would say we will appoint someone at the end of the season.

Thing is, he has got something to work with. Just not a lot.

Players worth their salt here you would have to say are Juke, Bigi, Christie, Keogh, Cranie and Clingan That's about it. So, Thorn does have some good players here, just not enough of them.

We could debate all day on different post here all about the same subject nearly.
the fact remains we are not scoring. Juke is one of those who's effort can't be faulted but also has a record of few goals compared to chances given. That's the difference , the fine line if you like that makes a draw a win or a defeat a point and our position would be far better right now. the 'collective' players on the pitch are all capable in their roles. We need to put away more of the chances we are given. I'm hoping Cody will begin to do that and Juke needs a rest.

No i wouldn't have any complaints in January if we sold the players who are not good enough for the championship.

Funnily enough though, it won't be these players who are sold, will it.
