...... she wouldn’t have sunk!!!
If that hasn’t already been disproved, it has now
My cruiser which I had recently finished in Sky Blue and dark blue go faster stripes sunk this week. Tied her up to her moorings too tightly and the river levels had risen with all the rain but my boat didn’t causing it to tip on its side.... I’m feeling like a right prick not to mention £500 down for the recovery Now going to have to charge James more next season and def no beer included

oh and apologies for the flimsy Sky Blue connection (is Ryton still called that ??????)

Gutted for you.

Mind you, it is proof that a rising tide doesn't float all boats...

Didn't think the canal basin at Hillfields constituted a river?

You barge your way on here without knowing the ropes and expect us to accept your story hook line and sinker. You should nail your colours to the mast and sling your hook.

If CCFC was the titanic, sisu was the captain and the iceberg was a euphemism for anything and everything you shouldn't do when running CCFC then the captain would have deliberately steered the ship into the iceberg just because. If said euphemism then changed into a euphemism of everyone else doing the absolute worst by CCFC possible it would then start chasing the ship after the collision just because. I hope that clears everything up.

If SISU were the captain of the Titanic they would have missed the iceberg but would have gone round again and again and hit the iceberg until the ship was sunk.

Scientists think that if the captain had actually steered into the iceberg then the titanic could have survived.

Not hitting the bastard at all would still top my list of 'things to do when sailing through an ice field at inadvisably high speed'.

Descendants of SISU are still trying to sue the iceberg for compensation. They have made countless claims to the United Nations but each time the claim is kicked out.
